Wow, Yoichi finally gets his cover, the tender-hearted crybaby finally gets his chance to shine and shine he does in the Cursed Gear Training possession moment. It was a nice turn of events considering he nearly lost himself in the trial for them to get acquainted with their weapon back in the early chapters. I liked how he got this moment and also how it left Yu and Kimizuki feeling like they fell behind. The volume largely is one to allow everyone to breath, reflect on their feelings with the revelations of the world, and their government/army, and well their relationship with each other. The ending left on a note that makes one hope that they finally realize they, particularly, Kimizuki and Yoichi, are a family and what's left is to see where Yu fits into this. I look forward to what they say to him if he overcomes his trial. Bonuses include a mini poster, chibi character art, character materials collection, and, the afterward.

Great Series. If you are an Attack On Titan fan you will enjoy Seraph of the End. Its like Attack on Titan but in a modern setting with vampires instead of titans.
