Great little tool to have around the house
Handy little tool to have in the kitchen drawer for those small jobs that pop up. It won't replace the full-sized screwdrivers that you need for bigger jobs but it's compact and takes care of the other ones. Small enough to fit in a kitchen 'junk drawer' and works very well for most small needs. I had to replace ceiling fan blades that were removed when painting my ceiling and this took worked flawlessly in a tight space. It's inexpensive but I would have gladly paid more for what it covers. The heads are easy to pop in/out and the ratchet setting works smoothly. What more could you ask for when paying less that ten bucks for a tool?

Fantastic Little Tool for Very Tight Spaces
I ordered this to tighten the knob/lock assembly on my front door. The assembly was coming apart less that a year after Lowes installed it for me, and the space was so tight that I couldn't get a screwdrive of any size far enough behind the faceplate to tighten the screws that held the locking assembly in place (without damaging it, anyway). So, I ordered this item, and it was still a snug fit behind that plate, but I managed to wedge it in there and finally got the screws tightened. It's a very attractive door knob assembly, but obviously poorly designed if I had to get this specialty tool to do the trick. So, BOTTOM LINE: If you need to work in really tight spaces, this is your tool. Highly recommended.

Handy, compact, and inexpensive, but make sure you measure before buying
I bought this tool to remove screws from a very tight place with an angle inaccessible to straight screwdrivers. Unfortunately I didn't pay close enough attention to the total height of the bit plus the backing, so while this tool -did- do the job for me, I had to finagle it and bend some plastic I wasn't planning on finagling and bending.Seems like a solid, compact, inexpensive piece of equipment. Despite the fact that it wasn't quite small enough to be ideal for the job I had in mind, it worked, and I would buy again. I expect this'll come in handy again some time.

OK for $8.
It's okay. It was basically a one job tool. I had a fan blade screw that I was trying to force into a a stripped receptacle where the clearance was minimal. It was partially successful, not the fault of the tool. But for $8 you get an $8 dollar tool. Looking at the tool I suspect it will probably break over time which may not be fair to say but it is cheaply made. The bits stay put in the ratchet as you use them contrary to other reviews. If it breaks, I'll update this review.

From thumb grip to tip and it comes up at 1 9/16 inches!
Some reviewers complain that this is not as low profile as described so I measured this from thumb grip to tip and it comes up at 1 9/16 inches with a 1 inch bit inserted. (the description says 1 1/2 inches). For me this is the perfect size to remove equipment rack ears where equipment racks are mounted against walls. Once you have used the ratchet to loosen the screws the thumb grip makes it very easy to remove the screws unlike other tools without the thumb grip. An excellent & essential tool for me and I suggest the aggravated reviewers read the description a little closer and buy an alternative tool if the access is less than 1 inch 9/16. Just incase, I do carry one of the thinner tools but have never had to use it!

It worked great and I was able to change the pulls in ...
I needed to change the pulls on a false drawer front and was unable to access the screws with a traditional screwdriver and drill. This little screwdriver did exactly what I needed it to do. It worked great and I was able to change the pulls in minutes. the round piece on the back is the part you turn to loosen and tighten the screws. You will need a couple of inches of space in order to work with this tool. It saved my task!

Handy
Handy little tool for my sewing machine once you get the hang of it. Helps loosen the screws on those hard to get to places on my sewing machine. Don’t expect quality like a Snap on Tool though.
