A1 - (23.4 x 33 inch) or 23 7/16 x 33 1/8 inch Poster Frame (Ashford)

Couldn't find an A1 size frame anywhere locally so I had to look online and luckily found this. Quality is great and super easy to hang.

Finding an A1 poster frame in US is a difficult if not impossible task, given that this is an international standard that the US doesn't use. Custom frame shops wanted a small fortune. I stumbled upon this option and decided to pull the trigger vs. some of the other frames that ship from Japan, even though this one is comparatively more expensive.Why, exactly, it is about 50% more expensive to have this frame shipped domestically vs. one coming all the way from Japan, I don't know, but I picked this one for three reasons: 1) I wanted it sooner than shipping from Japan would have taken, 2) If something went wrong, I wanted someone that spoke English and was in or near my time zone, 3) The seller was able to verify that it had a white foam core background, which was important for me because I had a semi-transparent image I waned to put in it and I didn't want an image or color bleeding through (it's equally difficult to find an A1 size piece of white paper in the US).That said, the frame arrive pretty quickly after the order was placed. The packing was more than adequate to protect the frame, which was already assembled. Pulling it apart, putting my image in, and using the included hardware (including spring clips to keep the image and plastic face tight) was pretty straight forward. I didn't curse once. I did, however, slice my finger pretty bad somewhere in the process. I didn't notice when it happened, but some of the edges on the frame were pretty sharp, so I imagine I sliced it when I was taking it apart for the first time.Overall, the frame looks good. My image looks good. The frame, once assembled, was quite light, so no issues hanging it (though I did use two wall hangers I had on hand instead of the one, just to be sure). For a (relatively) cheap frame I couldn't get anywhere else in this size, this was a great option. For other images which are a more standard size, I'd probably choose one of the many other options out there instead of this material. It's not bad, but it's not exactly great either. It gets the job done, that I can say.

I had to do a lot of searching to find a ready-made frame that matched the size of a British-made poster I ordered as a Christmas gift. I kept coming across this one which although was more money than I wanted to spend, had good reviews with several stating they got it for the same reasons I was. I agree with all the positive reviews: it is a high-quality frame that fit perfectly. Even though it doesn't use real glass (which was a concern of mine), it looks great and it ended up being nice because it wasn't too heavy. So I guess the old adage "you get what you pay for" once again proves true. My son was super happy with his gift and couldn't wait to hang it in his apartment.

My husband bought some amazing movie and video game art off Etsy (PixelnoiseStudio) for his Man Cave. Unfortunately for Americans, they are made in the UK and come in Euro sizes. Trying to find an A1-size, ready-made frame in America is NOT easy. Worse, most of the options are pure garbage AND are still pricey.While these may seem like a lot of money, they are a bargain compared to the price of custom framing. Plus, this is an aluminum frame, not some cheap MDF product. The shipping cost may seem high, but given the carefully chosen, quality packing materials, not to mention the size of the item, it's actually very reasonable.I bought one frame to start, to make sure we were happy with the quality, and just placed an order for two more. My husband wants to buy more art from PixelnoiseStudio, so no doubt I will be back again! I highly recommend!

I'm very happy with this purchase. It was very difficult to find frames that would work for my new artwork (purchased from the U.K.), and I was so happy to see that these frames were securely packed and easy to assemble. They also arrived earlier than expected.Listen to the other reviews that mention just how sharp the edges of the frames are...I was careful while assembling them, and I still ended up with multiple cuts on my hands.I wasn't thrilled with the cost of the frames, but because they ended up working out so perfectly, I would definitely purchase again.

I have a poster from England that is the odd size 23 1/2 by 33. Using a regular poster frame was require either cutting this poster to fit or using a border as a background, neither of which I wanted to do. These frames are decent metal, the plexiglass used is clear and has protective wrap on both sides, and the hardware used to hang the poster is first class. If you have a European size poster and you are fine with a thin black frame, then these are a great bargain for the price. The picture of the poster mounted is before I hung it on the wall but you can see the nice fit.
