I love Cassie’s books. This is a great intro book for those interest in seeking tarot knowledge. I recommend purchasing her entire collection. Not only are these book gorgeous, but they have an excellent amount of information that is sorted in a very comprehensive and easily accessible way.

I really learned about important quick features of the Tarot quickly. The book was inviting and easy to read.

A good book for beginners, especially those that would rather learn intuition, than more classical styles of learning. Lots of information, even I learned a few new things and yet everything was so easy to read and understand. A good layout and style throughout the book. Good quality paper and binding. This is for sure a must have for the more spiritual tarot reader.

The Zenned Out Guide to Tarot is a good starting place for someone who does not know much about Tarot, but maybe found some curiosity where they want to explore it. Cassie Uhl has written a series called the Zenned Out series, and her book Understanding Tarot is one of them. It complements the tarot deck itself (available separately) and expands the meanings and history that the booklet comes from within the deck. Her focus is on the elements, numerology, and astrology, which is a good starting point for symbolism that carries over to most other decks that are out there. Building the relationship and knowledge of symbols and meaning will help develop your understanding of what the card meanings are, and when you start seeking guidance, it will help build a trusting relationship to your unconscious, and therefore your intuition will bloom. Overall I like the book, everything is clear and concise, so reading it will be easy, while the meanings of the cards are simple enough to give you a general idea of what you are interpreting. There are lots of images, mostly from her deck, but also some diagrams and layouts that help formulate symbol systems. Well done.

I like this book for its easy to navigate and use manner as well as the look and size of it. It doesn't have a lot of extra "fluff" to the content, which I appreciate. The size and feel makes it more manageable to use and doesn't feel overwhelming in any way. This is a plus for people who may have ADHD and can become overwhelmed. Great to use with her tarot deck that is full of inclusive images. The book and deck would make a great gift!

This is a fun companion book for your favorite standard Tarot deck. Gives you a lot more information than the little booklets that usually are included with the deck. It's fun to shuffle and draw even a single card and then look up all the information about it and figure out how it applies to you in this moment. Very nice illustrations and fun to just sit and browse too!

I have really appreciated having this book! It briefs you on the lore and tradition of tarot reading, and then dives right into understanding the cards and doing readings in a way that is really easy to understand. It's not a super long or complicated read, but you come out the other end ready to practice! And of course, the pictures are colorful and appealing.

This book is filled with knowledge. I will definitely be purchasing all Cassie Uhl books and her the Zenned Out Deck. I LOVE this book, it's easy to read and understand. I can't put it down.

I was very curious about this book. I've read some others tarot books and I recommend this one to beginners. The Zenned Out Guide to Understanding Tarot is mostly useful as a guidebook for the Zenned Out Journey tarot, which I've already preordered and I'm looking forward to receive. This deck is based on the Rider Waite Smith deck so, if you have the RWS or similar decks, this book may work for you quite well.The first part gives you instead some tips about astrological correspondences, numerology and use of tarot. All of that wasn't new to me, but if you're a beginner you may find some interesting starting points.
