I bought this one as a replacement for my old Kenwood hand mixer , it still works but wanted a more updated one. This one does the job perfectly, at such a good price.

Nice lightweight hand mixer but the lowest speed is still quite fast,beaters could do with being a bit longer. Same switch to eject beaters as to switch on/off so make sure to switch of at socket before ejecting beaters

I'm not a prolific baker, in fact I make 5 cakes a year (4 kids' birthdays, one Halloween), so a simple mixer by a brand I've heard of seemed the perfect choice.Sadly, in use, I was very disappointed. Firstly, it's not got enough power, making the speed control fairly pointless - it's either bogged down and going slow, or going full pelt when the going gets easier, at which point you can just turn the max speed up to insanely fast if you like.More ridiculously, it won't stand up on it's end when you want to put it to one side, suggesting it was designed by someone who's never used a handheld mixer. Instead, it tips forward, making a mess on whatever surface it's on.And today, exactly 1 year after I purchased (it's birthday time), it died whilst making a simple sponge mix. First the clutch went, so the beaters started fouling each other, a nasty smell, then both beaters stopped turning at all as the motor sped on.I'll not be replacing with the same make.

Easy to use, good amount of speeds, really pleased with it very good value for money

It arrived cracked around the rim as if package was dropped but the item still worked. No smell coming from enine even when on for over 3 mins at max speed. I have had many blender but never seen something this resiliant and powerful at such value price
