As a 44-year-old woman who developed discoid lupus, protecting my face from UV exposure is essential and far outweighs the odd appearance. This visor was a must-purchase, and if you’re looking for maximum sun protection, here’s what stood out: Pros: * Excellent UV protection for gardening, the pool, and other outdoor activities. * Surprisingly lightweight and comfortable enough to wear for extended periods. * Can be worn lifted to provide shade over your entire face and most of your neck, or lowered for full facial coverage. As an added bonus, no one can see your eyes, which makes it fun to watch people’s reactions to the visor. * High-quality construction that feels well made. * Adjustable headband provides a secure, comfortable fit. * Includes both a protective sleeve and storage bag to help prevent scratches. * Bonus: It completely embarrasses my teenagers when I wear it to the pool. 😂 Things to Know: * It definitely has “NASA helmet” or “from the future” vibes. In South Korea, these visors are common, but in the U.S. you’ll probably stand out. If you’re buying it for UV protection, the appearance quickly becomes secondary. * The price is on the higher side, but the quality justifies it. * Handle it carefully. The shield can scratch or bend if something is placed on top of it during storage or travel. * The back clip came undone once, but I was able to snap it back into place easily. Overall, if protecting your skin is your top priority, this visor is absolutely worth the investment.

This sun visor is absolutely amazing to drive with. I drive a lot for work and I'm exposed to the sun for hours and hours a day and this keeps the sun and road glare off my face and neck. It's light easy to adjust on your head and comfortable too. I notice that I can feel heat through it and I wish it had more IR protection. It's very large and dramatic and most people will laugh at you so have some clever comebacks ready and you'll be fine. I'm scared to use any chemicals on it so I might start wearing a headband with it because the plastic fabric that's in the visor seems like it would absorb oils and dirt pretty easily. it's very permeable.

How can I return this item? Do not rely on this product for sun protection. I have new sun damage because I relied on this visor.

Facelift in December, Cruise in March and I am a fanatic about protecting my face from the sun. I have dozens of wide brim SPF rated hats but they are frankly annoying. THIS IS FABULOUS!!! It sits there, doesn't flop in the breeze, provides protection, it's sturdy and it does the job. Highly recommend! I can sip a drink while wearing this. It checks off every box.

Its good if youre facing the sun. But if the sun hits you on the side thes vont cover all the side of your face.

Perfect for shading your face and neck. Great if you've had any laser treatment or don't want to wear sunscreen.

Love it except the head band doesn’t fit well if you have an oval shape or big head. The flip up/down works great and is convenient. I can also fit it over all of my glasses and I wear big frames! The shield will touch the frames, but it doesn’t bother me. My hat size runs 7-7 1/2 and the band is too snug, even on the longest adjustment. I also wear it high in front and low in the back because with the snug fit, it leaves impressions on my forehead, so I try to keep it at my hairline. The hook on the band also slips out very easily (only when off my head), but I always have to put it back in when I go to put it on. I’m glad I got this shield over others, but I expected better for the price.

If you’ve ever had the sun beating down on your face, even if you’re wearing an SPF 50 this makes a huge difference. It dramatically reduces the heat on your face. Don’t be concerned about what other people think. Be more concerned about your skin health and safety skin. Cancer could be deadly.

I gave 3 stars because it does block the sun. But the visor is small. Even on the largest adjustable place it’s tight on my head and I have a pretty normal sized head. But It doesn’t adjust any bigger. The quality is definitely not what I expected for the 90$ price. The quality for the price is disappointing. I’m already so nervous it’s going to break. There has to be something cheaper with a similar or better quality.

I love this sunshield! It provides excellent sun protection while looking super stylish with the rose gold tint. It fits comfortably and doesn't fog up. I love keeping my skin protected on sunny days!

Im only giving 3 stars because yes it gives shade necessary to cover the face but the side of the face is still vulnerable when facing the sun. Hook is also coming off all the time hence the hat doesn’t stay still easily. It also looks funny on top of the head because it’s bulky not in a good way. Shade is adjustable but doesn’t stay still.
