The Farm (Talkabouts) Board book – 27 July 2007

My 14 month old toddler loves to grab a book and pass it to me to read to him and this is the one he most frequently choses (and he has even been known to sit down and leaf through it by himself!). Although it's short, it's jam packed with pictures and action, so it can take us 20 minutes to complete and we almost always find some new element, character or situation to talk about in each sitting. The book itself is sturdy enough to withstand the inevitable bashing a toddler's book must go through. All in all, I cannot recommend this book highly enough, so much so, that I've just ordered the other two in the series (The Seaside and The Zoo) and I'm genuinely excited to receive them.

We spend hours reading this with our daughter (~18months old) as she loves the pictures and plenty of things to discuss with her so even as an adult there is something new.Zoo book in the same series is better in my opinion with Seaside then Farm next.
