Certified Medical Assistant Exam Secrets Study Guide: CMA Test Review for the Certified Medical Assistant Exam 1st Edition

I am so thankful for this book. As a person with anxiety, I am of course already worrying about the certification test when I still have 3.5 months of class left. I bought the book to help me know which information is important to study out of the vast amount of info that is being presented in class. I'm so glad I did, because there are definitely some things in the review book that I wouldn't have thought were important enough to know for the test! I find the information to be very clear and well organized and just really helps me to get it all summarized in my mind and make me feel less overwhelmed. This book is well worth the money because it gives peace of mind. I am confident I will do better on the test due to having this book. I love the test taking tips too! They also include an offer of a free study skills DVD to be sent to you which I am going to take advantage of.

My rating for this product is a 5. While trying to decide which study guide to purchase, I could tell immediately that this product would be the better choice. I am so glad that I went with your product. I love the A&P section. You managed to outline everything taught in A&P I & II in a matter of pages. I love the way the information flows. I also love the Medical Terminology section. I received A's in both basic and advanced med term, and still found pieces of information that I hadn't learned. I was also able to see areas where I need to improve.Another favorite of mine is the charts for the hormones, their functions, and the glands that secrete them. I had trouble with this area before, but with this guide, I feel that I may finally be able to understand. I haven't gone a lot further in the book, but from what I can see, it is just as impressive!

Good study book, one of many I purchased to help me study. Although they don't indicate it, I think that this company also produces the CMA Exam Preparation 2015-2016: Study Guide & Review Book for the Certified Medical Assistant Exam study guide, so the questions in the back are exactly the same. I didn't like that you need to submit a review to them in order to get bonus material, but the bonus material wasn't what I had hoped for. They also have a second book that includes additional study material, but I didn't purchase it.

I passed the AAMA CMA exam using only this book as a study guide. I finished school an have been working as a medical assistant for the past 6 years so in that time I forgot all of the technical and general things asked on the exam. I work in dermatology so most of this is not needed in my actual job, does a good job at covering everything. I wouldn't worry so much about the part on law and the terms associated with it because I focused a lot on that part of the book and none of those questions were asked, but would look into mail, and cpt and icd-10 things on my own, because these subjects were not covered in the book but we're on the exam, I am a strictly clinical medical assistant and knew nothing about coding and mail but still managed to pass

I purchased the CMA exam book from Mometrix test preparation and I love it. Hands down I would give this a 5 ☆ its very easy to understand and it covers a lot of the exam. Its very helpful, i haven't took my retake exam yet but I'm pretty confident I'll be passing.I love this book it covers everything I needed to know. My other book had my mind so scrambled, but this book is great and an easy way to learn and catch up on the thing you need a refresher on. Instead of reading pages of thing that sometimes don't make sense this book gets straight to the answer and explains the answer with the simplest way to understand it. 5 star book.

The Mometrix Medical Certified Assistant Exam (SECRETS) Study Guide really does cut to the chase and gives clearly stated facts on each section of the MA Exam which is a lot of stress off of the student. I feel it will definitely make passing the MA Exam easier for me. The layout makes studying so much easier since it is broken down in to sections without a lot of rambling on aimlessly. The link to the additional bonus material is really a great gift. Sharon H.

A majority of the information was on the test. Also, I've been a MA for about 15 years. Just took it again today and passed! Just be sure to read ALL the information. Take it from me, it is a lot easier to just keep CEU's up! Learned that lesson the hard way even though I passed.

Didn't prepare my daughter for the 2015 certification. Need a more current study guide.
