Ginger Shots - Pomegranate Ginger 6-pack

I had been wanting to try ginger shots ever since I heard that Selena Gomez swears by them. I found these on Amazon, and decided to order them despite the slightly higher price. I thought I would like pomegranate flavor, but now I wish I had tried pineapple or one of the citrus flavors instead. It was supposed to arrive on Monday, but came 2 days earlier, on Saturday, which was awesome. When it arrived, it came in a bigger box with 3 ice packs on either side of the smaller box containing the ginger shots and said, "REFRIGERATE IMMEDIATELY."I'm not gonna lie--the ginger shots are hard to drink down. They burn your throat a little and I had to wash the burning sensation down with 2 glasses of water. But if it keeps me from getting sick, then it's all worth it! I give this 4 out of 5 stars because I wish the price were a bit more reasonable and that I had liked the flavor more (although that is a personal preference). I am going to try to find something like these at a bit more reasonable price elsewhere, but if you are willing to pay $27 for 6 ginger shots, then by all means, go for it! It was a pretty quality product, shipped promptly, and the packaging was pretty cute as well.

Yummy and delicious!!!!! I absolutely love ginger and the bold, burning taste of it. My husband thinks I'm crazy of course :) My biggest problem with the product is the PRICE! Ginger is so cheap that I started juicing it on my own and saving lots of money. If it were cheaper and not worth the hassle of juicing myself, I would continue to buy it.

For those who love ginger. This is for you. But, beware this product has some kick to it. Obviously, it is ginger. But, good for you. So, I've been told and why I purchased this. Enjoy.

Good kind of “hooked on.” Most healthy things are so over-hyped they can’t be believed. But, when I tried Ginger Shots, I became a fan. Got Kiwi-Ginger and Pomegranate-Ginger. Both delicious, but super favorite is Pomegranate-Ginger. The flavor is fantastically fresh and as true to the fruit as eating it fresh from the garden. The juice is organic and nothing is added - no flavors, no caffeine, no sugars, no nothing. I don’t drink it as a “shot” because I enjoy it so much I like to take it in several mini gulps.This is my experience. Came home exhausted and didn’t think I had the energy to move. Could barely make it to the fridge for the shot. Surprisingly, it restored my energy and I was able to complete a task I was going to postpone. Even more helpful is the effect it has when I wait too long to prepare a meal. Normally would grab a snack - not the good kind. The Ginger Shot cuts the starvation effect and gives me time to make that meal.

Love the flavor - pomegranate with a loaded spicy punch of ginger! Great way to start the morning, particularly good pick-me-up before yoga at sunrise. Fantastic health benefits from pomegranate and ginger... and much easier to find than a ripe pomegranate in Boston!
