I was very happy with my purchase from Flexguard Support. This is a very high quality product at a fair price. Other braces are either way over valued or dirt cheap to the point where they're ineffective.Quick story time as to why I needed the Flexguard Brace. I am relatively very young for someone buying a posture brace. I am 21 years old. I noticed my insanely poor posture during a college class where a webcam was used to broadcast both my teacher and our class on a screen. I could clearly see my slumped back and forward leaning neck and I knew right away it was the start of kyphosis. After that every time I looked in the mirror it was apparent how noticeable it actually was. I am also PCA at a hospital so I knew how important it was to have a healthy back for both my health and the quality of my work.I tried being more mindful of my posture and doing stretches 3 times a day but I saw real change when I actually purchased this brace for Flexguard and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. It fits under my shirts and isn't noticeable unless I point out I am wearing a brace. I wouldn't recommend wearing the brace for an extended length of time especially if you are doing anything mobile like bending over, squatting,or jumping as the brace will ride up and it's kind of hard to get it back in position without taking everything off. I tried wearing the brace for a whole 12 hour shift and I ended up taking it off half way through.What I do now is when I get home from school or work or whenever I have an hour or 2 at my desk at home I will put on the brace and become mindful of my posture for a few hours. I find that this is more than enough time to make a difference and I saw changes in my posture on the first day and long term change after 3 days of using the brace.I highly recommend this product if you have a similar situation.

We bought this product a few months ago to test whether we could correct our curving posture, but unfortunately the product was more effective in tightening our stomachs than it was to make our arching back straight. The back brace was effective at pushing our shoulders back and restraining our upper movements to a few tasks. However, the bottom pieces of the strap was not as effective at posturing our backs to become straight but instead tightened our bellies. It was more of a weight control garment than anything else. After a week of utilizing the staff sporadically throughout the day and the following week of wearing the strap for 18 hours and then utilizing it again for the next several weeks, there was no real difference in our overall posture. All we noticed is the immediate tension when putting on the strap in our upper body shoulders and that was it.However, it was for the most part comfortable to put on. We suggest applying it over a t-shirt and not your bareskin as the tension from the straps will cause irritation and rashes to your skin after excessive use.Also note: This our first time testing and buying a back brace and so we do not have a baseline to compare this particular product with. We're reading a few of the comments and most people quoted in saying that it takes time and dedication to train your back to become straight, but we felt that the product should provide us with some level of support to help that process. In this case, it didn't so much.Can you work out at the gym in this?We utilized this strap while working out and it works just fine. It might actually be better as it provides some tension and stability to your workout, but we don't recommend it for strenuous activities (heavy weight lifting).I am 6'2 and about 195,what size should I get?Please see their size measuring chart.Overall, we had some issues with this particular item, but we would like to test other straps to measure whether this strap was effective or not. This is a really amazing back brace!! I 100% recommend if you are having some back tension/pain while standing for long periods of time. The only reason I’m giving this product 4 stars is because it’s not the best sitting brace because of the shoulder straps. I use this brace mostly when I’m playing percussion in band (lots of just standing around) and it works great. It’s a great design, but make sure not to pull the straps too tight because it can make it hard to get on and off (you don’t need to tighten them as much as you think anyways). The brace doesn’t roll over itself because of the metal bars in the back but does tend to slide up when lifting your arms or while sitting. Super lightweight and relatively easy to use except for the adjustments of the straps. You can only really adjust them when the brace is off, but once they are adjusted to your liking you never really have to adjust them again.
