Burrs on the bottom ground edges

Bummer, surface gage arrived with burrs on multiple bottom edges. Didn’t realize it and placed it on my granite surface plate and moved it, resulting in fine scratches on the surface plate. Upon inspection, obvious high spots on the grind.
