Q: How many actually read and understood the description of this toy when they bought it? my dog has one that's 2 years old and it looks like new.

"Perfect for interactive games of tug and fetch." "For X-Large Dogs" - Exclusively playing with the toy for tug-of-war and not as a chew toy, my 65lbs Boxer-mix managed to pull the length-wise ribbons of fabric through the core of the toy in only a couple of play sessions, which promptly caused the wound cording around the center to unravel. Would still recommend Tuffy brand at this point.

Q: Is there some kind of guarantee on these Kong toys? My dog destroyed it in about 30 minutes. He is a 45 lb bull terrier.

Unfortunately most manufacturer's do not guarantee how long a toy will last because every dog is different.
