Does anyone have an idea on how long these last. and country of manufacture. the china ones i got last time maybe last six months

Do these fit a kubota bx series zerk?

Hello, Thank you for getting in touch, these fit all standard grease fittings (SAE & Metric) and will work on your machine.

How does the securing loop attach? Will i have to unscrew the grease plugs or what?

If your fittings are smaller (1/4"-28 or Metric 6x1 you can unscrew them to install the loop under the head of the Zerk. And, you also have the option of just pushing the loop over the head of the Zerk. You'll still have enough room to attach the cap on top of it and be able to secure your coupler without removing the strap.

will these work as dust caps for automotive brake bleeder valves?

That will depend on the size of the bleeder valve. We haven't tested these on bleeder valves in the past, but if yours are M6 or M8, these should fit.

I’ve installed them on my excavator and tractor and they do a good job of making zerks easy to find and keep dirt out. There are always a few zerks that get hit or brushed by materials you’re working with and these covers will not stay on but far majority stay in place.

These work a treat for keeping dirt out of grease nipples and are quite easy to remove to apply grease.

I purchased the yellow caps for the visibility. They fit OK on the grease fittings, but I may have to cut off the retainer ring as they are on grease fittings that are recessed and sometimes pop off. Other than that, they are fulfilling their purpose. I would purchase them again if the need arises. LockNLube usually makes good products.
