GP Batteries 30236 Battery Alkaline 1.5V

One of the things that I've come to expect from online merchants, and not only Amazon affiliated merchants, is the risk that something small and insignificant, is really not what it is advertised to be. For example, the picture is original and the good shipped is a counterfeit or the good is original, but out of date, or repackaged, via some off shore product repackaging / product aggregation firm. Not so with these batteries. They appear to be the real thing and they do act like the real thing. They are same size, and they last as long. So I conclude that either they are original or they are precise fakes.

The battery works great. The clock in my china closet is working again.

NOT MUCH ELSE I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS BATTERY, OTHER THAN THE PRICE WAS LOW AND THE SHIPPING FREE. IT FIT PERFECTLY IN A CLOCK I HAD NOT USED FOR YEARS AND THE SECOND HAND ON THE CLOCK STARTED TURNING IMMEDIATELY. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG IT WILL KEEP THE CLOCK RUNNING, BUT WHEN IT STOPS, I'LL POP THE SECOND BATTERY IN TO REPLACE IT. IF I REMEMBER, I'LL POST AN UPDATE. HOPE THIS HELPS. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Installed one of these batteries in a crystal clock. Works pretty good. The only problem I may encounter is the battery may not last as long because the expiration date on the barreries were 7/2011. I received the batteries in August 2011. If I get a year out of the one installed then I presume the other battery (2 in a pack) will not function. That's the reason i gave it 4 stars because of the expiration date.

Thumbs up to seller on fast shipping and good packaging. Difficult to do on a cheap item with free shipping and Amazon’s large take on fees from the seller.

I was hunting for batteries for 4 small, decorative clocks I have in my house, and couldn't find them. I was pleased when I stumbled across these, and ordered one 2-pack. They came quickly, had a long time before the expiration date, and were exactly what I needed. I ordered a second package so I could put batteries in the rest of my clocks. They also fit my 30 year old Canon A-1 SLR (not digital) camera, so I can use that camera again. I'm pleased to have found these relatively rare batteries.

Fits the crystal clock and works. I have checked at different stores for this battery but couldn't find anywhere. Finally I ordered through Amazon reluctantly, wondering would it work, would it fit. After I received it, put it in, it works perfectly!

Ordered these for a special clock. Better value than local stores. Batteries are charged & ready to use. Works great so far. The last ones I had lasted about year. Will have to wait & see about these.

Tot nog toe werkt deze batterei goed. Is even afwachten. Ik heb al eens een ander merk geprobeerd, maar deze was zo leeg. Heb toen weer een originelen ( Varta erin gezet ). Kijken of deze het ook zo lang doen.

Batteries are exactly as described and exactly as I needed. It was a great alternative to find the batteries here as they are not a common size. Would buy this product again.
