Painfully Relatable
This is the kind of story that sticks with you, even long after you’ve finished reading. Willow and Garrison are incredible characters. Honestly, I’ve never related to anyone more than I relate to Willow. So to see her with someone so perfect for her was a complete gut-punch. I didn’t love the back-and-forth between the past and present though. My next read (of many) will be the special edition chronological version. My only other complaint is that I wish it was longer. I could read about these characters, this family, forever.

The perfect blend of love and angst to conclude Willow and Garrison's story!
This was the most beautiful, perfect conclusion to Willow and Garrison’s story. This book continues the back and forth timeline of Whatever It Takes - watching as Willow and Garrison continue to solidify their friendship while navigating the gradual slide into fame and being connected to the Hales, Meadows, and Cobalts in the past; as they navigate a long distance relationship, family and friend dynamics, and more fame.Wherever You Are was filled with the perfect blend of love and angst. It was a perfect emotional roller coaster that I’d ride ten times over. Willow spent a lot of this book struggling to find her place. Her title as a sibling changed so much in the span of only a few years and as she drew closer to some family members, she found herself isolated from others. I can’t imagine what that must be like but she is such a courageous character (such a Gryfinndor) and she was determined to make the most of what relationships she did have. She grew into a much more confident character by the end of the book and if I was impressed with her journey in the last book, then I was just brimming with pride by the end of Wherever You Are.Garrison also had such a journey in this book. Oh my goodness, I truly love Garrison Abbey, and this book firmly solidified him as one of my favorite characters from Krista and Becca. After removing himself from a toxic relationship with his own family, he really starts to practice a little more self-love. He learns to accept his past actions but tries to not let them affect his future as much as they used to. Plus I just love the tenderness between him and Willow, especially in the past. Willow is pretty timid when they meet and eases herself out of her comfort zone slowly. Garrison’s been thrown from his comfort zone with too much force and respects the boundaries that make her feel more comfortable. When they had a conversation about this, I swooned so much. Both Whatever It Takes and Wherever You Are have timelines that overlap with the Addicted and Calloway Sisters series. It was so great to be able to read some of the scenes from those books in Willow and Garrison’s point of views. It makes this whole universe are a little richer. I adore the Core 6 and it’s a fresh, new perspective on their stories that I’m grateful we get years after their series ended.I loved these two perfectly imperfect characters. A rebel neighbor who, deep down, is a good guy and protects those he really cares about. A wallflower girl next door who hides in the corner at parties but travels across the country, the globe by herself to find herself. They are both contradictions and opposites but they are also perfectly imperfect together and I am so glad that we got to read their romance. I’ve said it a lot already, but I am truly thankful to Krista and Becca for finding time in their writing schedule to share this story with their readers. I didn’t know how much I needed to read Willow and Garrison fall in love until I had these books. If I could give this all the stars in all the universes I would, but I guess a 5 star rating will have to suffice.

I laughed, I cried, but ultimately this book left me feeling so hopeful
I'm so depressed right now, whew. This book was everything. I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I wanted to die a little. But ultimately, it left me feeling so hopeful."I, Willow Hale, am a risk taker. A challenge seeker. I see that now. I feel it deep in my bones. And I want someone with me, always, to face risks together.I want Garrison. For as long as I can have him."There will never be another couple so perfect for each other. Willow and Garrison shouldn't make sense, but they fit so well. They complete each other in such a beautiful way. They're patient with each other, they support one another. They were two lost people who happened to find each other exactly when they needed someone. I won't say much about the plot. You don't have to ready any of KB's other series to read this, but you do need to read book 1 of this duet. WYA picks up right after WIT left off. Garrison is in a really bad place emotional and mentally. Willow is trying to navigate college, her long distance relationship with Garrison, and keep her friendships alive. "'Wherever you are, no matter if it's right next to me or a thousand miles away,' I say, 'I'm tied to you with a tread that can't break. We're connect by some thing stronger than time or place.'"Like I said, the romance is amazing. This is KBs sweetest and softest couple ever, and I very much doubt they'll write another couple like this soon. But beyond the romance, the sibling relationship between Willow, Lo, and Ryke was amazing. Each relationship was different, but no less special.Daisy and Willow are my favorite friendship ever. They are so cute, I'd take an entire book just based on their friendship. Also, seeing Garrison slowly get closer to Connor, Ryke, and Loren was beautiful. Seeing him accept the fact that he does deserve respect and love and kindness brought tears to my eyes. "Connor, Ryke, and Lo—they protect me all the time. They care about me when they don’t have to. These are three brothers that I’d never trade in, never swap out, and even though we’re not blood related, I know they’re mine."I wouldn't change one thing about this book. I have an epic book hangover right now. I literally finished the book not one hour ago. I have no idea what I'm going to do with the rest of my day.

Overly sweet at times
I didn't love this like I loved the first novel in the series. I find Willow annoying at times. There were parts of the story that were too sickly sweet for me. I loved Garrison and the other characters. 3-3.5 stars.

I was both exited and scared to read this one after how the first book ended. Wherever You Are is the second book about Willow and Garreth. It continues where the first book ended and they're doing the whole long distance relationship.I felt so bad for Garreth. He has gone such a long way since he bullied our core six. He finally realized how toxic his family is and despite his insecurities he never did the Angel move aka leaving someone he loves for their "own good". I loved seeing him finally accept that he deserves to have people besides Willow care for him and I especially loved seeing his relationships develop with Lo (who he sees as a superhero), Connor and Ryker. But what I absolutely loved, was how he was with Moffy.Garreth and Willow are so different but at the same time they're the same. Neither think they deserve the other and I just love that he's the bad boy and she's the good girl. I usually hate flashbacks but the ones in this series just give such an inside to their relationship. He always thought about her needs first and he was so patient with her. Krista and Becca Ritchie just write friends to lovers so well that even I can't help but love them.I don't know which couple in this universe is my favorite anymore, Garreth and Willow or Lily and Loren. All in all I couldn't put the book down but there were so many scenes I already knew because of Some Kind of Perfect. I just love how this book was about found family. Willow and Garreth both lost their families (both families can burn in hell) but they gained new ones. Not just with Calloway sisters but also with each other. I just wish we had actually seen some scenes where their "old families" see how happy they are or even actual talk instead of just suddenly disappearing from their lives.

Willow and Garrison own me ♥️
As a huge huge HUGE fan of the addicted/Calloway sisters/like us series, I knew going into this duet was going to be spectacular.Although I read the web series, nothing prepared me for their story being told.Garrison and Willow are the complete opposite. In pretty much every way. Sure, she’s the typical Nerdy shy introverted book worm and he’s the typical bad boy with tattoos and a bad attitude. BUT, they are SO much more.Their story doesn’t have the normal issues, most high schoolers have. From long lost family, to abusive brothers, these two meet and became each others people. There are certain parts of the book, where I broke into full on sobs. Being reunited with previous characters you absolutely ADORE, you do feel a sense of peace.Garrison isn’t the typical bad boy, he isn’t even a jerk. He’s the most selfless, loving human being. He knows he’s done wrong, and he owns it. He changes his life because he knows he’s going down a bad path. And no matter what or who try to bring him down, he looks to his one friend in life.Willow is the nicest person in the world. Her heart is literally as big as the sun. She sets off on an adventure, and not only finds herself, but finds out the true meaning of family.I couldn’t not recommend this book!!!They have become my second fav couple, right next to Lo LilyWell done, props to the authors ♥️♥️♥️♥️
