Okapi Loves His Zebra Pants (Endangered and Misunderstood Animals)

Wonderful Series. I am impressed!
The only story book I could find with an Okapi in it. It was a thrill for the child to see this wonderfully illustrated book. It has a sweet and teachable tale but has many details which will be understandable as their knowledge expands.

Super Cute / Poor Quality Print
The story is really cute. The print is really poor quality though... the second half of the book is all wrinkled. It's disappointing... but at least all the proceeds go to okapi conversation so if they're making more on this book it's going to a good cause anyway.

Fun Read
Good accurate information for a budding zoologist like my 7 year old grandson. The fun facts and drawing lesson are a nice addition to the book.

Adorable and educational
Not a well-known animal, but it should be. This book is informational and sweet. Kids learn about the Okapi and how it feels when people make fun of someone. I especially liked that the lesson was not taught in a sappy way. It showed realistic youngster behavior.

Our favourite book of the series!
The media could not be loaded. GORGEOUS book with facts about the animals at the end! Good quality too, the colors really pop. I got this for my 6 year old son for bedtime reading, but his little brother (2yrs old) seems to enjoy it more! He keeps pointing at Okapi's 'pants', and saying ZEBRA. Such a funny book with an important lesson, and it highlights endangered animals! (all the profits go to saving Okapi's too!). Don't even think about it, buy this book!!

Lovely story
The book is about self-acceptance and also about endangered species and plain simple friendship. Lovely rhythmic story and beautiful illustrations. Enjoyed reading it.

Must read for teachers, parents and animal lovers alike. Tatchell hits another one out of the park!
I’m a big fan of the first two stories in the series and was so excited to read book 3. Terri and Ivan hit another one out of the park. The story is heart warming and the illustrations captivating. This is a must read for teachers/educators of kids aged 3-9 and perfect for classroom learning about themes like self-acceptance, resilience and appreciating our differences. I think everyone old and young can learn something from this story.
