EXACTLY what I was looking for. Excellent quality. Smaller in size.
These are smaller than what I'd suggest is the average size. That's what I'd looked forever for.I didn't want silicone handles - I think those look cheap to me.I didn't want wood handles - They get old looking and stained.I wanted quality stainless handles and these are PERFECT!I like the smaller one for stirring coffee in a cup and it's great for things like that. The other is just slightly larger and has a slight bit of a scoop shape to it, like you might like for getting stuff out of a small jar.Handles are nicely solid (not hollow), heavyweight and help to make them feel like serious quality tools.Durability of the silicone end portion looks nicely made and likely to be long lived. These are nicely semi- firm silicone ends. Neither is what I'd call flimsy floppy.I would but these again.

I'm a fan!
I'm a big fan of silicone. I also like wooden kitchen spoons. But these look better and don't stain (thats why I purchased the black and charcoal ones) and I like the flexibility for scraping out pots.I also love that the ladle and spoon in this set look nice enough as serving implements for guests. Love using them on my ceramic pans and my Staub cast iron cookware. I have had some of these Tovolo implements for a few months now with heavy use and haven't had an issue. They are holding up well and can be thrown in the dishwasher. I have purchased multiples of some items so I wouldn't have to make do while they are in the dishwasher - I use them that much.Online I was only able to find the charcoal ones, but Crate and Barrel has these exact tools in black. I prefer the black but the charcoal is nice too, and now have some of each.

Solid. Cute. Useful.
Was concerned about reviews mentioning breakage. Though marked as Flex-Core, these are essentially constructed the same as the large spatula whereby the silicone head is removable and held in place by way of friction against the multi-bladed tip of the shaft. If breakage occurs, it will happen at the weld where the multi-bladed tip is attached to the shaft. Keep in mind that these are advertised as mini tools and their utility is defined as such. Use as a tasting spoon? Check. Stirring soups and sauces in 4 qt. and under pots? Check. Scraping jam out of a 1 lb glass jar? No problem. Clearing out a 2-cup chopper/grinder? Yes. Scrambled eggs in a frying pan? Of course. Two-piece design allows for the harboring of bacteria. But this is easily remedied by disassembling the tools and running through a dishwasher sanitization cycle.

Handy, well made
The size and weight of the product is wonderful. The packaging leaves a small amount of the plastic around the base of the silicone head. I just used tweezers and it came off with little effort.

Handy kitchen gadgets
I use these all the time for many different things: stirring small batches of sourdough starter, scraping out jars and containers, etc. They replaced similar ones that had wooden handles that got kind of nasty, so these are much sturdier and will wear better with their heavy metal handles. However, beware of the packaging. There is a sharp plastic tag that sits right under the spatula heads, where they meet the handle. It's nearly impossible to get it completely off the tools because it's sort of embedded under the silicone. Had to use a tweezers to remove; otherwise it would leave a sharp bit of plastic there to tear up sponges, hands, etc.

Solid Product
Solid product. Stainless steel handles are tough and the silicone is firm. The only thing I am unsure about is if you can get replacement silicone ends once they start to wear down, but for now they seem to be holding up well.

I love these silicone and stainless steel utensils so much I've ...
I've been using these little spoons for over a year now. I love these silicone and stainless steel utensils so much I've bought nearly every one of the different styles. They are well made, feel good in the hand, and work perfectly for their purpose.

Best well used mistake!
We thought we were buying a big spatula and when these arrived we laughed bc they are so tiny but truthfully it's one of the best items in our kitchen!!! Used on a daily basis for almost everything.
