Saved me a bunch of money.
Very nice, and well priced product. I bought two for my wife’s 2012 Camry. Both of her old key shells had broken, and I didn’t want to pay the dealer $100 for new ones because the remote portion of the keys still worked. I took an old key to my locksmith and had him cut both. I took the guts out of her two existing keys and installed them inside the new ones, and they work like a charm for a fraction of the cost. They seem more durable than the pieces I bought from the dealer. I had no issues with the buttons fitting correctly. FYI: Don’t forget to remove the little black transponder chip from the side of your old key and install it into your new one. There is a YouTube video that explains the procedure, and it’s not difficult.

Repaired my own key.
Read many reviews & I was skeptical to get the new key cut. So I only used the lock button to replace my missing lock button (everything else is my original parts) It fits perfectly & works great! IF YOUR METAL KEY BROKE OUT OF THE FOB LIKE MINE, I’ll tell you what I did. I used a drop of super glue on the perimeter of the meter TO HOLD THE METAL KEY PART IN ITS PLACE, let it dry before closing the fob & be careful not to get it on the buttons or the actuator AND IT ACTUALLY IS HOLDING UP like new. The dealer quoted me $400 to program& cut a new key. NO THANK YOU! Hope this can help someone too. God bless!

excellent product like original
Same looks as original key. Buyers please note there is a hexagonal chip that will only make your door lock/unlock to work. But for your car to recognize the NEW KEY that you get cut from locksmith, you have to put a rubber kind thing that is transponder. It goes into the hollow small space on the side of the key. for that you may have to break your old keys hollow plastic very small square holding that piece of finger like thing that is the transponder. Excellent product, but remember only hexagonal looking chip is not enough, you need small rubber like transponder. remember when you get key, there is a hollow box like space on side of key, this is where trasnponder sits. As long as you take the CHIP and then transponder out, it will work. If its only your doors are working, it means you put only hexagonal chip, not the transponder. if you bring old key near to new one, 10 percent of times, your car will start, which indicates it is compatible, and you can break hollow part in old key, take transponder finger like rubber thing out .As long as you dont damage it, it and you put it safely in new key hollow thing, the new key should work. Good Luck. Its excellent product that actually WORKS

Gets the job done but get the magnet out of the old key.
Key worked as I needed it. The first I ordered was incorrect. Second key arrived correctly. Went to Lowe’s and had it cut for the cost of a house key. Swapped the internals of my old key into this key. Make sure you include both the keypad circuit board, as well as, a small rectangle shaped magnet out of the old one. The new one doesn’t include the magnet. This is needed for the car to actually start. At first I didn’t see it because it was pushed into the rectangle hole, but it’s there. Had to tear the old key housing completely apart to get it. The quality of the metal is a little low but gets the job done. I’ve been using it for two months or so and I’m seeing a decent amount of wear in the key part that goes into the ignition. It’s rounding the corners/edges already. Overall though if you have the insides of your old key, this is a good replacement if you can swap it. Much cheaper than a dealer key and it gets the job done.

New Toyota key
The key works well, how ever not everyone wants to do the key. In my local ACE hardware I was able to get the key done and the gentleman pointed where the chip was, at home I was able to remove the chip ( which look like a very little magnet rectangular so small) then I deposited into the new key and work great, I test the ignition and start the car with out any problem, open the doors and the trunk with no problem. I do believe other doesn’t want to do it because they want to charge $250.00 to & 300.00 dollars. If you can find someone to do the key and can change the chip go forward. The original chip inside of the original key is very tight, so be very careful removing it if not you will damage it and the hold work will be lost, and then you have to buy a new complete new key. Thank you and Good luck Jose I Medina Deltona Florida

Does not work/fit. Don't bother buying.
The case does not fit over the key components well. The size is off. The button pieces are also too big and does not press down, have to shave of the sides to make it fit to actually press down on. Terrible product. Waste of money.

Perfect fit
My key broke in my ignition and when I went to the dealership they gave me an estimate in the hundreds stating that they would have to reprogram my key since you can’t open it. Since I have changed the battery in my key before and I know you can open them I was able to order this, get the key cut, pop out the transponder chip in the old key and move it to the new one. It saved me a few hundreds. Everything fit in it and snapped together and I was able to go on my merry way.

Engine cranks but won't start.
A transponder chip is required to start my 2014 Corolla. The detailed description mentions that the transponder chip is not included. I was not aware that the chip was separate from the button box.

Bueno por el precio
Se tiene que ajustar el tamaño de los botones si lo que buscas es el reemplazo de botones a una llave original
