Just Wow!
Previously had the Razer Kiyo (non PRO version) and I must say that this big brother is a beast. The actual look is just so amazing and the performance was a total upgrade from the previous gen. I definitely recommend this product.

Does not update firmware!!
I saw the reviews about many many frustrated customers stating their Kiyo pro camera does not update the firmware. I thought that Razer would have surely fixed this issue by now -- apparently not.I went ahead and purchased the Kiyo pro because all my setup is Razer: PC, Mouse, Keyboard, Headset. I tried to update the firmware to the latest version and got the same screen as all the many many people were talking about: "To proceed with the update, Please contact Razer support". When you contact their support, you dont get any response other than that the camera is defective and that they don't cover it.Just google it and you will see the endless threads about this issue. It is a shame that Razer are not taking action and that till this date, there are still producing cameras with the same old bug. Mine came with 1.0.1.8 but there are others with other firmware versions and also not able to update to the latest

Better performance in lo lite, and wide angle.
I used to get this halo/flare effect when filming directly under one of my stronger white lights and it wouldn't go away save for a very tight camera angle. That's gone with this webcam. It films in wide by default so you'll need to crop that, the bundled razer software helps you with that(and some other parameters too). A little bulky, so consider perching it on a solid platform.

hardware issues
I had so much false hope because this dumb camera doesnt work. I tried everything possible and even went to the razer faq for help and the amount of people that have the same issue with the razer kiyo not working is mindblowing. I advise you not to take chances with this camera and go get a trusted camera

Razer Kiyo Pro was not recognized by Windows 10 workstation
The camera feels like a good build but it did not work right of the box with generic drivers, so I tried a couple of things which I have mentioned below. I use a web camera frequently and do not have the time to start troubleshooting the camera as I have to focus on other things during meetings.- Updated Windows with all updates- Updated Razer Kiyo Pro firmware- rebooted - the camera worked- the next day it stopped working again- uninstalled driver, rebooted, reinstalled driver- searched online for tips that people suggestedAfter a few days, I realized this camera is not going to work for me

DO NOT BUY IT.
Works fine for 1 year and as soon as warranty ends, BOOM. Stops working. Horrible for the price point because my 50 dhs random camera works longer than this. Get a better more reliable camera.
