Mehron Tooth FX, Gold

This isnt a metallic gold and ends up looking more like yellow than gold. Make sure you get your tooth SUPER dry first or the whole thing just slides right off... which it will in an hour anyhow. ...but, seriously, you dont want it to bond TOO well and mess up your tooth! I just wish it actually looked gold.

I ordered a gold tooth cap for a show. Not realizing it was coming from China and would take over a month to get her I order this gold tooth paint as a backup. When it arrived today I thought oh good I'll use this instead. That is until I opened the bottle and looked at the ingredients which include rubbing alcohol and shellac the fumes alone are enough to knock you out. Better yet to take it off you must apply more rubbing alcohol. Who in there right mind would put this in there mouth I have no idea but it won't be me. Yuck

I've worked on the haunt industry for many years and use tooth paints for many looks. This one goes on a little thin and the brush is not the best for precise application. However, once I have it built up, it looks great and it stays on well even through drinking cool or room temp liquids. Doesn't hold up well to eating but that's to be expected. Just be sure to dry your teeth first for the best application.

I ordered this for a cosplay but the cap had some weird cement holding it closed and i ended up having to break it open. It also tastes/smells really weird, and I feel is a bit overpriced for the amount you get.

It’s too thin and watery. I’ve used similar products before but this didn’t work at all.
