FLEX : Reinventing Work for a Smarter, Happier Life

I enjoyed this book and managed to read it within a week! I’m a busy working mum and usually read a chapter per year if I’m lucky so this is credit to the writer for keeping the language simple and message clear. There are some really useful tips, advice and reminders about what is important and how to re-focus. There isn’t a lot of depth and it does skirt over some really interesting stuff but that is what makes it easy to digest. Overall it is a very real, no nonsense and useful guide that speaks some hard truths and sows a few seeds on how one might begin to rescue oneself from this mad chaotic life where we try to have it all but at the same time wonder if we can get through another day. I found the friendship advice absolutely spot on. It’s certainly given me some clarity, focus and determination to sort my crap!

Very easy to read, lots to take from it and think about for myself. Different people will get different things from it. I'm self employed so some isn't relevant to me but other areas are great. I've even recommended some men read it for themselves too!

Inspiring, thought-provoking and written with honesty and wit. It challenges the traditional, questions the 'norm' and provides answers to those of us struggling with the demands of everyday womanhood.Great insight into addressing balance and giving women the confidence to take control of their lives.

I purposefully read this book to help improve empathy to understand how a woman must flex in an often inflexible world, it did the job. Bravo

I loved reading this book and recommend it to all my friends. It was a breath of fresh air and in line with my own way of thinking. I could not put the book down and read it cover to cover during the lockdown. I also shared some of it's quotes with my brother who was travelling through Crete at the time.
