This stuff is great. Easy to use and it adds beauty to whatever you use it on. Love the color. It dries fairly quickly. The smell isn’t great but it dissipates rather quickly. So far it’s been very durable on the few projects I’ve used it on. Still planning to use on many more things. Will definitely buy another tube when this one runs out. The price seemed steep for a small tube but it’s thick and a little goes a long way.

Let me start by saying, I think this paint is great! Yes, a little goes a long way. But as for ease of application, I’m not sure if it was because I was working on metal, but it was a little tricky to get on there in a way that looked like it was covering and consistent. No way could I have done it with my finger, I definitely needed a cloth. But sometimes if I rubbed Too much or too hard. It would just rub off what I just put on. That said, I certainly managed, and I was able to do two of these lamps in less than 30 minutes, even with a little bit of struggling. And they look amazing! I can’t believe I have gold lamps for seven dollars, Lol! Gold stuff can be so much more expensive, so now that I know about rub and buff, I can just buy things that are silver, and make them gold myself. I still have about half of the tube left too!

Any crafter or decorator will tell you that this stuff is a go-to. Make thrifted frames or knick-knacks look like brass; touch up metal items or change the tone; hundreds of craft applications. Use your fingers or a brush; a very small amount goes a very long way. I used it to repair an ornate Victorian frame and it looks way better now.

Reasonably easy to apply fairly evenly (not perfect). Took some shiney gold from gauche to gorgeous with an antique brass look!

You will want use this on everything to create a gold finish! Such a great product

This may come in a small package but a little goes a long way and it will last a long while! Very impressed with the coverage and durability. The look is that of metal once you work it in, there is no strong odor, and was easy to use. Would recommend wearing gloves if you plan on using your finger to work into spots, but it did clean up nicely if you didn’t let it dry (took a little more effort to clean up if you let it dry).

This product worked really well for my purposes. I had some primed/painted hinges on some bifold doors that I wanted to replace with brass-finished hinges, but couldn’t find the exact right size. So I removed them and stripped the paint off down to the bare metal, and then applied just a tiny amount of the Antique Gold by swiping it on lightly with a t-shirt rag, and they came out really nice. See the before and after, side by side. Pretty color!

Love the colour off it and how it gives a piece just that bit of extra finish. Would definitely recommend using a dark base colour underneat. Personally I liked brown underneath the best as it gives it an even warmer look.

I recommend this all the time. I’ve used it on so many household items, especially black ones, to soften and age them
