I've been using it to trade between my Pokemon Sapphire and Fire Red versions between SPs and it's been working well enough. I read other reviews and have been very careful when inserting and removing the cables as to not break that connector part on the consoles and I've had no trouble as far as that's concerned. I don't know if it's just me, but I found the cable to a be a bit finicky. When I want to trade, sometimes the cable doesn't work initially, and I have to disconnect and switch the connectors between the consoles. And sometimes it's as simple as switching which console is the host in-game, like which one talks to the host lady first. It just takes some work to even get a trade going. I don't know if it's user error or the cable, but I got what I wanted out of it.

Works perfectly and honestly made out of really a resistant material, doesn’t feel cheap at all. Fantastic purchase.

I bought the cable to trade between Pokemon games, specifically Gen I (Red, Blue, Yellow) and Gen II (Gold, Silver, Crystal). The product description suggested that trading between Pokemon games is possible as long as cartridges are from the same region, but it doesn't mention anything about generations. It turns out that it's not possible to use this cable to trade for games earlier than Gen III (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green). The cable seems to be of ok quality, and may work for linking other games, but it's not a fully functional GBA cable. It is apparently possible to use two genuine GBA cables to link earlier generation Pokemon games, but this requires plugging the end of each cable into an input box on the other, which this cable doesn't have. Don't buy it for Pokemon Gen I or II.

No es el original de Nintendo pero aún así cumple perfectamente su función, por la mitad de precio. Es cierto que entran con dificultal en los puertos link de la GBA y SP, pero basta con limar un poco los bordes para que encajen perfectamente. Cualquier lima sirve, mismo una de uñas.
