FarminaNatural & Delicious Grain Free Boar and Apple Adult Cat, 11 lb bag

My 2 cats do not get the same food day in and day out. They get variety of mostly premium canned and dry cat food with quality ingredients. Farmina Prime dry is lower in carbs than the other Farmina flavors and a lot lower in carbs than pretty much most of commercial kibbles. I can only guess that’s why it’s greasier, too. My cats absolutely love it. I use Farmina as cat treats as well. I have all 5 prime flavors and tropical chicken. One as good as the other according my cats.

My cat was previously eating another premium grain free cat food but would throw up hairballs and food every few days. Once I transitioned him to this food, it stopped. I believe this is the absolute best dry cat food you can get for your cat and it's high nutritional value is worth every penny.

My 3 cats love this healthy food and it completely agrees with them. No problems of any kind. My 4 yr. old cat use to eat and then often vomit other high quality foods but since he started eating this Farmina Boar, there has been no vomit episodes ..... not even one! I first tried them on a small bag to make sure they liked and tolerated it well. That trial was a success with all 3 cats so apparently they really like the taste of this Boar food. Turns out they like it maybe too much since this food is now all they want to eat. They also get wet food daily but now prefer this to their favorite wet foods. This grain free food has really healthy ingredients but it's pricey so I always look for the best deals. It's worth it to me to pay a little more for this food that keeps my cat vomit free. It's a win, win for both of us. Amazon seller Pet Food Station did an awesome job of delivering my order early and in excellent condition while also offering this food at a great price. Great job by this seller! I just placed another order for an 11 lb. bag with them so I don't run out, since all 3 cats are still loving this food.

If you have a pukey cat, then you *get* why finding a food that makes them puke less is such an ordeal. Apparently many cats have a chicken allergy (who'dve thought??) and so finding a non-chicken, non-grain cat food that doesn't smell like road kill can be a challenge. This one is pricey, but so have all the other quality brands been that offer no grain and no chicken. The advantages we've seen is that (at least to me...) it's not as awful smelling as the variety of others we've tried. Now, it does smell funky, but only if I'm close in, cleaning around the food bowl or filling it. I've had other brands that kill you with rotten smell the minute you enter whatever room the food bowl is in - luckily not this. It has the requisite no grain & all the other criteria we're supposed to be seeking out for miss pukey. Luckily for us the 3 other girls like it too. So, 4 cats, all like it, pukey cat pukes less - that's a win for me! Even if it is more $, it's not that much more compared to the other brands of similar quality.

My four cats love this dry food and eat it in preference to the usual gourmet canned food on offer for very spoiled kitties. In fact, when I first gave this a try, they all dove into their portions and gobbled them up to the very last crunchy. The ingredients are stellar -- really top notch. There are no grains, so the binder is potato, which seems to agree well with sensitive stomachs. There are no byproducts or junk additives ... just fresh, good and healthy stuff. The combination of boar with a bit of sweetness from apple and other yummy things, seems to be exactly what the doctor ordered for two of my cats which are very sick and haven't been eating well. The 3.3 pound bag is a good, initial trial size. I'm now ordering the larger, 11 pound bags. This food is costly, but definitely worth it.

I have a cat in later life has become allergic to chicken. Tried other cat foods and three different vets till I discovered this problem. He had the runs all the time. It was driving me crazy because he wouldn't use the litter box and preferred my carpet instead. Chewy is the one to recommend N & D so I started him on their lamb catfood. The Cat liked it but the lamb smell was so horrible. Right out of the bag and when he would use the litter box. Then I decided to try the Boar and Apple. Hardly any smell coming out the bag. And the litter box doesn't leave a bad order. So I feel I hit the jackpot on this flavor. Chewy doesn't carry the Boar so I went to Amazon and found a supplier and everybody is now very happy!

We recently adopted 2 Russian Blue kittens. They LOVE this Farmina with boar meat and apples. Their fur shines brightly and they are healthy and happy. Great food for kittens along with any excellent wet food!
