The only reason why they’re not five stars would be because of the color. They say matte black but they’re more like steel grey. I’m not sure how well they fair against wear and tear so I’ll update.

Overall, this silverware set had everything I was looking for- a minimal look, heavy feel, and a matte finish. I’ve had the set for about 3 months now and a few pieces of silver wear have permanent scratches that drastically clash with the smooth matte finish. The silverware is all still functional and I haven’t noticed any of the damaged pieces chipping or flaking, so this is still a fully functional silverware set in my eyes. I wish the matte finish was more durable, but most of the set still looks good as new! I can’t imagine any of the pieces bending or breaking anytime soon. Overall I would recommend this set especially if you’re interested in experiencing the matte finish without spending a ton of money!

Nice weight to cutlery set and the satin finish looks nice. One tablespoon has a large blemish on it, almost like a tarnish spot that can't be washed away. I would love a replacement for just this spoon, but there is no way to get in touch with the seller through the Amazon Orders page ... despite what their insert card says to do if there is a concern. The remaining items are fine, but this one item in the set is not.

I just needed a simple inexpensive flatware set. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because my flatware seems to disappear with my family. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the set was rather nice size, and sturdy. Not some flimsy junk. Great price and you can't go wrong buying this set.i

These were the perfect accent to the bohemian themed wedding shower we hosted. They were solid pieces. The weight and quality are great. The only down side is that they don’t wash well. I put them through the dishwasher before first use and it was very challenging to get water spots off. They also held on to all fingerprints, so be sure to handle them with gloves if for a formal occasion.

I've been wanting new silverware for a long time and I'm glad I chose these. I got the black & am very pleased with them. They seem to be very good quality, I only rated them a 4 for sturdiness because I just got them & don't know how they will hold up over time, plus they are much lighter weight than my old set, (I probably just have to get used to them). Over all, very happy.

We bought this black silverware set (40) and the (20) piece sets for our guest cottage and guest room. Our return guests noticed and appreciated the upgrades.

These are so cool looking and have not shown any signs of wear through several washes.
