I bought these laces for my fishing boots. I usually buy thicker laces that have an inner core. Eventually the outer core breaks and I have to buy new laces every season. These laces are one solid piece, no inner core and stand up great. Also they are thin enough that when I pull on them to tighten up my boots they slide though All the eyelets and tighten the boots right to the toes.If I ever have to buy laces again for any boots these will be the ones.Update:: Haha…. These laces are no different than all the other ones I’ve bought. Inner lace with an outer sheath. They just cost more…..

OK... so I don't write a lot of reviews. And why would I write one for a pair of frickin' shoelaces? Simple... b/c they're the best damn laces I've ever owned. I wanted a pair to match my new Thursday boots as the laces that came with them were flat and annoying to stay tied. I found these and bought them for the color. Little did I know how awesome they would be.Once they arrived, I put them in, fell in love with them, then bought 3 more pair for my other boots. My thoughts on the attributes of the laces can be summed up thusly:Waxed, so they don't untie easily. Kevlar, so they handle speed hooks without fraying. Made in the USA, so they're awesome.Treat yourself. These are worth it.
