Handles two large dogs easily
I have 2 German Shepherds one is 120 pounds and the other is 90 pounds. I bought this ramp because one of my GSDs completely tore her interior ligament in one of her hind legs and had to have surgery to repair it. This ramp will save wear and tear on the leg by preventing her from jumping in and out of the truck. My other GSD is getting up in age and she is not as nimble as she used to be. I chose this ramp over the stair ones I have seen because it looked sturdier and would handle the weight better over the stair ones. Besides the stair ones just looked cheap and would not hold up to these two. I gave it several weeks of use before leaving a review and I am very pleased at how well it holds up to the two of them getting in and out of the truck. Its not heavy and easy to put up. It does take up some space on the rear cabs floor. It took my two GSDs a few times to figure it out and now its standard practice with them. There was another reviewer on here that suggested putting carpet pads down over the grip tape and I see why. The dogs dig their nails into the grip tape which is causing it to get all scratched up and soon there wont be any grip left. I plan on taking that reviewers suggestion and adhere carpet pads down for my girls. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Best ramp ever
A lightweight solution for not only pets, but this is my second one ordered so I can wheel my lawn mower in and out of my car. Very durable and can handle quite a bit of weight. Lightweight, and slides together for easy storage

Good ramp, solidly built
This ramp is so light, easy to handle and convenient. I can telescope it out of my car with one hand, while I hold the leash with the other. It’s very sturdy and supports my 110 lb dog with no issue. My only complaint is the traction. Although it has a gritty surface my dog still slides a bit going into my Honda CRV, and it’s not that steep. It could use a few raised areas of texture to help with traction. Easy enough to add myself but it would be a design improvement if the manufacturer considered that. Overall, it is a great ramp and I’m happy with it.

Fantasatic, stable and lightweight ramp
This is a great ramp. Our 60lb dog can be a bit skittish and wouldn't use a folding ramp we purchased because it wasn't super stable. This ramp is solid and much lighter than any folding ramp I could find.

Fairly good ramp, with some issues.
Overall, this is a good pet ramp. It is very sturdy, a good width, and works well with our car (Ford Escape). The ramp telescopes very well in that you can have the incline as steep or as gradual as you need; for instance, if you are in a smaller area and cannot fully extend the ramp, it still works well. It is heavy, but not so much so that it is difficult to maneuver. The non-skid coating feels more like fine-grit sandpaper. When moving the ramp out of the car it slipped and scraped the skin off of my knuckles - left a bloody mess. The non-skid is an adhesive sheet and we have had the ramp about 2 months now and use it on average two times a week - the sheet is already peeling off. Without the non-skid sheet the plastic of the ramp would be too slick for our dog, so we are looking at other options to put a different non-skid coating on the surface. I cannot stress enough how abrasive the surface of this ramp is - it is literally painful if you rub against it.The ramp is secured in closed position by a plastic strap that snaps into place, but this is located at the bottom edge of the ramp. If you release the strap before setting the bottom edge on the ground, it is very easy to lose your grip on the ramp and it will telescope out rapidly. This is often where the non-skid coating sands the skin from your fingers. However, if you set the bottom edge on the ground, it is very difficult to release the strap and extend the ramp - you have to be kneeling on the ground to do it. So, the strap seems to be in a very poor position - it would make much better sense to have it at the top of the ramp for easier deployment. The carrying handle on the side is fairly useless. It is very thick and stiff plastic and sits very close to the side of the ramp, so it is difficult to even get your hand in there to use when needed. There are two plastic "feet" at the bottom tips of the ramp, presumably for traction and to preserve the metal frame of the ramp. One of those has already snapped off. An easy fix, but disappointing to see in an item that costs over $100.Pros:It does the job - it is a sturdy ramp that my dog has no trouble using and gets her in and out of the car with ease.It does collapse into a somewhat low profile size, so it is easy to store in the car when not in use. It fits in the back of our car without a problem.Cons:The non-skid sheets are effective for giving traction to my dog, but it is horrible for my hands. Extremely rough and abrasive. Additionally, the sheets are peeling off (and not re-sticking) after only a couple of months of infrequent use.The carrying handle is not very effective.Final opinion: A sturdy ramp at a reasonable price; many ramps are ridiculously expensive. If the non-skid was less painful, this would easily have gotten 4 stars; but the coating is really an issue.
