Great resource
This is one of the best books for development understanding! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and completing my masters in Clinical Psychology soon. This has been very helpful in my understanding and helping parents to understand their children. It’s has handouts at the back for parents and/or teachers. To help them understand what is developmentally appropriate.

My go-to guide
I wish this book had existed when I was a young parent! I think it would have helped me understand and anticipate issues as I raised my children. As a counselor, I use this book whenever I start working with a new client. It helps refresh my awareness of typical development at each age. The book provides descriptions of physical, emotional, and social development at each age as well as fears, challenges and causes for concern. And there are summary pages in the back that can be used as a quick reference to share with parents.

Great resource for therapists
This book is an excellent resource for a therapist that works with children and their parents. I use it in the beginning of sessions for most of my clients to educate and offer perspective. It appears that some customers are receiving copyrighted manuals and that’s unfortunate and I wish amazon was better about making sure that doesn’t happen. The copy I received is original and very highly recommended.

Disappointed
The corner of the book & several pages were bent. I don't like this on a brand new book. Otherwise, the book was in good condition.
