Works with canon t7i
Didn’t think it was going to transmit and receive, I was wrong. I connect canon t7i through usb at 150 feet and the speeds are better with cat6 then usb 3.0. I highly recommend if during long distance usb.

works but is touchy
for the most part, this has worked well for us to extend 2 USB webcams over 30'. however, the units are very sensitive to movement. the slightest touch has caused our stream to freeze. the only remedy when this happens is to manually power cycle the units.

Having unstable/slow connection over 58ft - completely unusable to me
Product works great when you're talking about connecting 5 feet of CAT6 for a USB extension, but my experience connecting my outdoor tower SDR (software defined radio; a USB 2.0 device) to my PC through 58ft of CAT6 is quite poor. Product has such a crazy low connection speed that I might as well carry the packets of data with my bare hands. Audio keeps stuttering and I sometimes lose the USB connection entirely, even when going with different cables of the same length.

Inaccurate Product Description
The description says, "Power Over Cable (PoC) - Only 1 Power Adapter is required either at TX or RX end."This isn't true. The user manual available at the OREI website clearly shows a DC power supply only on the Receiver end.It also says, "Simultaneously use Coxial and Optical outputs at the Receiver end..." There's only a CAT5e/6 connector. No optical or coaxial connectors.I have other OREI products that have worked great, but It seems unwise to purchase something that can't even be described correctly.

If you need support, forget it
It has worked very well for almost a year. But recently, switching the desktop using keyboard shortcuts has stopped without any fixes.
