Clover 43-321 Amule Key Needles Set, Multiple Colors

Is this the cheapest set of hooks? No. Is it the best set of hooks? I would say “probably.” Do I regret it? Absolutely not. I already own a few Clover crochet hooks, but for my current projects I needed different sizes. I tried adjusting the yarn weight to match the hooks I had, but the result was just disappointment. So as a little holiday gift to myself, I splurged on this full set of Clover hooks. I also own some lower-cost hooks from Michael’s, but I found that my hand and wrist would start to hurt. More often than not, I gave up on projects because of how uncomfortable they were to use. With the Clover hooks, however, my wrist doesn’t hurt at all. The hooks are comfortable, lightweight, and have a great grip. If you’re a beginner, sometimes good tools really do help you progress faster and enjoy the craft more. Cheaper hooks can be frustrating.

These are essentially Clover Amour hooks (http://www.amazon.com/Clover-3672-Amour-Crochet-sizes/dp/B00B2CCA6W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394136708&sr=8-1&keywords=clover+amour) but in sizes that, for whatever reason, aren't typically marketed in the US. I would encourage you to head over to that product page and check out the reviews. I needed a 3mm hook for a project and tried to find a Clover Amour in that size. Unfortunately, they just aren't sold here in the US. I bought a Knitter's Pride Waves hook in the size I needed, thinking it would be similar to the Amour/Amure, but it was a horrible hook -- despite all of its glowing reviews. I then found the Amure hooks and knew I would love them, so I had this set shipped from Japan. I received them recently and they are great, as I knew they would be. I guess there is just no substitution for these! :o) What I paid for the Amure set is comparable to what you would pay for 8 individual Amour hooks, but more than the above-referenced set (and you get 10 in that set rather than the 8 in this set). I consider the Amure a fair deal for me, as I got 4 non-US sizes in addition to 2 other US-sized hooks that I didn't already have. If you don't need the particular sizes included in this set, however, go for the Amour hooks instead. The Amour set is quite nicely priced here on Amazon, but individual hooks are better purchased at JoAnn's with a coupon -- if you happen to have a store nearby. Sizes: green (2/0): 2mm -- no US comparison yellow (3/0): 2.3mm -- no US comparison, but is pretty similar to a B, which is usually 2.25mm orange (4/0): 2.5mm -- no US comparison red (5/0): 3mm -- no US comparison purple (6/0): 3.5mm -- E hook blue (7/0): 4mm -- G hook green (8/0): 5mm -- H hook brown (10/0): 6mm -- J hook

I am a crochet beginner and learning/ making lots of things. I was keep having mistakes and got really tired. Especially, I missed half part of slippery yarn all the time. After I heard from my friend, I bought this set and...Voila!!! I found out the reason that I had mistakes (missing right point, missed yarn when crochet..) all the time. It was because of my old cheap crochet hooks! These hooks have a different head and curve than other hooks. They grab better and easily go through my knitting. It was perfect with slippery (shinny) yearn. This is really light and well fit to my hand perfectly. After I use this, my hand and fingers never feel tired. I highly recommend this set! I feel triple times happy with this purchase! Thanks Clover!

Quality is worth the financial investment. It's comfortable & glides easily. My arthritis appreciates them. Stop buying cheap junk if you're not a simple hobbyist

Great quality comfortable crochet hooks vs cheaper Susan Bates $2 hooks. I decided to learn how to crochet in a day. I finished a hat and then started on my second and that was when My cheap $2 hook snapped. I went straight to amazon and saw bunch of hook sets with all the bells and whistles for under $15. Then I read reviews saying they like their Clover brand. I looked it up and say it costs roughly $49? Making each hook a little over $6 since you get 8 different sizes. $6 vs $2. I like the soft feel and ease the yard glides through when I am doing my double crochets. I wouldn’t go back to cheap hooks ever again. Sticking with Clover brand.

In my opinion these are the most comfortable crochet needles you can buy and I like the head shape it won’t let your stitches get too tight.. great for beginners. The metal is polished so smooth nothing will hang up on your yarn, any kind of yarn. This is my 4th set of different crochet hooks… these are the clear winners

These hooks are horrible. They are not Clover hooks. Don't waste your money.Don't bothet

Contentísimas de tenerlas, el envío ha sido mucho más rápido de lo previsto, y las agujas son espectaculares, deslizan perfectas,, son muy suaves al tacto, y cuando llevas varias horas se nota mucho la calidad de las agujas y su mango ergonómico ya que no sientes las manos doloridas. Ha merecido la pena el precio y el tiempo de espera.

Fueron para regalar, pero estuvo encantada con su regalo, por la variedad de ganchos que trae y lo mejor que tienen un super precio, los ganchos además son de muy buena calidad.
