This lamp arrived well-packed and I was able to put together in about 5 minutes. I purchased it mainly as a task lamp for when I do embroidery in the evening. I wanted something a little more stylish since it was going to be in our living room and this one fit the bill perfectly. I appreciate the dimmer option, the directional movement, and the different light color choices - but mostly I use the warm white. I also like the fact that it looks like actual brass instead of that matte gold paint that looks so cheap and seems to be everywhere these days. The base is also nicely weighted, so no concerns about tipping or getting knocked over by our pets. The ONLY reason I shaved off a star is the power/control button. It has a slightly cheap feel to it that (iow, if it will get a lot of usage) may not last as long as I hope. That said, I may still purchase another for the master bedroom. At $79, well worth a try.

Wow, quality product, exactly what I was looking for. It was past time for me to update my living room. Moved two club chairs on either side of the fireplace. I had two larger standing lamps with shades which overwhelmed the space. These two lamps gave a sleeker and more modern look. The brightness is really bright and love the ability to dim them when not used for reading. Be aware that the shade is only 5 inches long, a little smaller than I had anticipated but love them. As mentioned before excellent packaging, easy to assemble and secure weighted base.

I bought this lamp to add more light for my piano. The lamp is super easy to put together. Everything fits precisely. You can hardly see the connecting seams on the lamp pole. There is a connection to the electrical cord, so that if you trip on it, the connection will pull out preventing the lamp from toppling over. As an engineer, I appreciate the attention to details. You can turn up or down the brightness by holding onto the on/off switch. This also changes the color of the lamp. The lamp has a flexible goose neck to adjust the angle and height. The lamp I received has no flaw that I could find. It looks super nice for the price.I only have this lamp for a couple of days, so I do not know the longevity of it. However, the first impression is really impressive for the price.

I've been searching for an adjustable LED lamp for weeks. What I like about this lamp is it's brass finish, adjustable goose neck, dimmer, and three light colors. One suggestion: I wish the light had a goose neck adjustable feature instead of the hinge and rotation. These work fine though I prefer a little more flexibility. The price is very good for its elegant design and brass finish. The lamp is in our living room for reading and mood lighting. I recommend it!

This lamp took all of 5" to put together, you could not ask for an easier assembly. We purchased the gold/bronze one, we'll test it for awhile, and buy one more for the other corner of our sectional.I looked extensively online at several stores, and though I would love to support other vendors, it is just so easy to shop Amazon.The only thing that would make this lamp perfect would be touch control, perhaps a remote, plus an off timer... for that you would expect to pay over $200. For the price, ease of assembly, and style, this is a great lamp.Update: Bought that 2nd one!

Super easy to put together. Very heavy base. Has already passed the wagging tail, and wild and crazy cat romps. No other floor lamp has ever survived either. The light is perfect. I’m in my mid-70’s and I’ve needed a really good light for several years. I’ve bought many - none have lived up to the claims.This lamp is easy to position behind my chair so the light is coming over my left shoulder. The light is bright and clear - my knitting is improving - thank you. You may find the on/off switch takes a little getting used to. It is small, you press it once and it comes on, then again for a day light color and then hold it and it will get as bright as it can get. Once I figured it out it is very easy to use, and I don’t expect the switch to fail.It is everything it is supposed to be - and far better than I expected. Oh and it is light enough to move easily to other crafting areas. I plan on purchasing two more.

Was needing that extra "something" in the way of a floor lamp, primarily with good lighting. Stumbled across this lamp, looked like it would fill the bill, took a chance and ordered it. Wow! Glad I did! I had been looking for a while, but could not make a decision on what I wanted-only knew that I needed really good lighting for reading, crafts, etc. Received my little mighty Joe quickly, easy to assemble (10 minutes tops), and placed it next to my recliner. The footprint is unobtrusive, a shy little dude; AND the actual "head" or lamp itself is a round, flat disc-no shade to deal with-and a short, goose-neck adjustment allowing you to direct or focus in on whatever you are doing. I did not realize that the lamp was small, but overall it is perfect for bedside, next to a chair or sofa, craft work area, or just a cozy little addition. One draw back is that it may "wobble" a teeny bit, but the base is strong. Go for it!

Lamp looks futuristic. I really don’t see the point of an old fashioned lamp shade that just gathers dust.Great value for the price.

Bought one of these lamps. We have had it for 3 hours and love it. Decided to buy another and the price jumped from +$80 to +$140 in just a couple days. That’s just wrong. Won’t bother, will be buying elsewhere.
