This a classic for a reason! So good and love the family values!

My boys loved this movie about kids becoming spies! Secret agent gadgets and fun! Very cool movie! Made me nostalgic!

In all of Robert Rodriguez's "SPY KIDS" movies you don't come to expect much, just flat-out entertainment for kids. You don't have to worry about content, they are safe.

Movie is fine. I am just not particularly a fan. But it is 4 stars for me because I think more effort could have been put into the production of the movie.

This is a movie that is part of a set of movies that shows a family that the parents and grand parents are special agents of the OSS and the children become agents. Then they go through their different assignments and there are action parts and funny parts to the movie as well. I got this movie to replace the one I had on video tape already.

La qualità video è cristallina in alta definizione, con effetti speciali che reggono ancora bene nonostante l'età, perfetto per un fan di storie avventurose come me. Qualità Video e Audio Il trasferimento Blu-ray rimasterizzato offre colori vividi e un dettaglio nitido, ideale per schermi 4K come il mio Samsung 65". L'audio DTS-HD è immersivo, con esplosioni e musiche elettroniche che riempiono la stanza senza distorsioni. Extra inclusi: commenti del regista Robert Rodriguez e featurette sui gadget, un tocco nerd per chi ama il dietro le quinte. Contenuti e Nostalgia Spy Kids è un film geniale per bambini (e adulti): spie bambine, marchingegni folli e umorismo intelligente che ho adorato da piccolo. Lo consiglio per famiglie o collezionisti di cult anni 2000 – evoca ricordi perfetti senza invecchiare. Extra come scene eliminate aggiungono valore al disco. Pro e Contro Pro: HD splendido, audio potente, nostalgia pura con contenuti bonus. Contro: Effetti datati per standard moderni (ma era il 2001), niente 4K UHD. Assolutamente 5 stelle per un pezzo di infanzia impeccabile – da avere nella collezione!

This is a 2001 science fantasy family adventure in which Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni (Daryl Sabara) are just normal kids until they discover their parents Ingrid and Gregorio Cortez (Carla Gugino and Antonio Banderas) are super-spies, after their parents are kidnapped by an evil baddie bent on world domination. And it’s up to the kids to save the day. Filled with funny crazy ’monsters’ such as the ‘Fooglies’ who speak gibberish and the dumb ‘Thumb-Thumb’ henchmen, and gadgets galore, this is almost live action comic book fun for all the family. It’s Willy Wonka merging with James Bond, and it’s guaranteed to enthral the youngsters with its bright and bold colours while the plot and cast are engaging enough for older viewers. With no swearing or nudity, this is an obvious recommendation and a ***** family movie without doubt.

Spy Kids starts with a bedtime story. Unknown to them, the story is about their parents who are spies. The parents who were on non field work get called in to work a case, but they are also taken and the family is threatened. The search for a brain, is the key to the story. The Kids find out that their family was not what it appeared and fight to keep the brain out of the hands of the enemy and to rescue their parents. Not everything goes to plan and it makes for a fun action movie.
