A Great Guidebook
My girlfriend and I used this guidebook on a recent trip to Yosemite, and it was invaluable. Easy to follow and up to date, it made our stay even more magical and wonderful.

Essential for planning.
I'm planning a trip to Yosemite and have just about worn this book out. It is a great guide for trips when you are unable to spend several days. I will be at Yosemite only 2 days and, thanks to this guide, I will be able to see all the highlights in the time allowed. I highly recommend this book.

Great book and content, terrible binding
It fell apart the second day in Yosemite. Too bad since the content itself is very helpful.

The book was very useful make the trip a little easier
We did a road trip of Yosemite and this thing was very helpful. It’s straight to the point you will not have that great of cellular reception in the park so it’s hard to look up things so having a book is handy easy to read by the campfire or in your tent.

Extremely Helpful and Informative
Loved this book! Read it prior to spending a week in Yosemite and it helped us to plan out our week perfectly. Great content on hikes and must- sees as well as restaurants! We did the Valley Floor Tour as recommended and it was a fantastic tour and worth the money. Very thankful for this book!

So well done!!!
Just got home from an amazing three days in Yosemite and this book is a huge reason why we enjoyed ourselves so much!! Moon’s suggestions on the must sees and her general tips about navigating around the park allowed us to maximize our time and get an overall Yosemite experience during our all too brief stay. I am truly impressed with how comprehensive this book is! If you are planning a trip there, get this book well in advance and familiarize yourself with the different regions of the park. You will not regret this purchase!!!

Better for its photos than its information
This guide packs a lot of photos and enthusiasm in an easy-to-carry small book. I enjoyed reading it. I very much appreciated the large folded map conveniently included in a back pocket. However, There are two issues that limited its usefulness for my brief visit to Yosemite. One is that the book is outdated to a greater extent than even a typical travel book. Though published well after COVID restrictions came into effect, the text does not reflect the widespread closures still affecting the park. An example is the bus/tram tour of Yosemite Valley. The author repeatedly raves about this tour and includes it in all her itineraries--but the tour doesn't exist, hasn't existed for a while. The second issue is that little to nothing is mentioned about accessibility, or attractions best suited for people with physical limitations. There are a lot of us who haven't spent twenty years hiking and rock-climbing, and yet we'd like to enjoy what we can. A day's agenda for people who don't regard a two-mile uphill climb as "moderate" would be a very valuable addition here, rather than leaving readers to cobble together information about "maybe I could manage that" drives and walks that, in the current book, are scattered across a couple hundred pages.So. If you're fit and have no accessibility issues, and you're prepared to cross-reference this text against other sources, then aspects of the book will add value to your trip. The maps and photos, small and large, will be helpful to all. But if you, like me, are coping with the usual ills of middle age and a sedentary lifestyle, the information here is probably not helpfully organized or calibrated for your needs in maximizing a short visit to Yosemite.

Great book
Used on a recent trip to Yosemite, the tips and maps were great. Unfortunately the newer edition was published whilst we were actually there but this was still great in planning ahead for our trip
