Denby 1041005 Dinner Plate, Imperial Blue, Set of 4, 6.5 x 26 x 26 cm

Although quite well packaged, the bottom plate was smashed on arrival. Slightly dissapointed that I don't get the option to have the package replaced and that I have to wait for a credit and then reorder.Maybe that's an Amazon thing and not a supplier thing?Can't fault the quality of the plates, Denby are always exceptional quality. So my 5 star rating is for the quality of the product.

These are great plates providing you're lucky enough to get them in one piece and blemish free. Denby pottery's customer service is really not great - I was told that if I didn't like plates that looked like seconds I could return them all to Amazon and I should not expect items to look alike because they're hand made. A response which is in my opinion unacceptable. Essentially Denby aren't interested.I'm sorry but having blemishes in the glaze that are clearly defects or spots where the glaze is not present at all is not the standard I would expect from a supposedly up market and supposedly reputable brand like Denby.Where I might have otherwise added to the plates I have bought, I very much doubt I will buy anything more from Denby as their quality control is poor and their customer service worse.

These are great, I needed some plates and saw these at virtually half the price, around 9 quid each.To me that's a bargain, they look good and they are very sturdy.At 16 quid each which I think is the normal price for these I'd think twice though.

It has taken a very long time to add to my Denby collection and it has been with the wait. The quality is second to none. They are everything one would expect from Denby. Excellent.
