World of Warcraft: Illidan Stormrage Deluxe Collector Figure

Pretty awesome Illidan Stormrage action figure; my favorite Hero from Warcraft 3 where he was the most powerful hero in the game. This is a WOW:TBC figure but I bought it cos he's better rendered in WOW than W3 for obvious reasons.The quality of the figure is awesome, The wings look superb and make this figure a collectible not just for Illidan fans but also for people you like collecting action figures. I wish the base was a little better and more creative. Right now it is a simple plastic generic base. I wish they made it better with his name on it and some design features to complement his figure which is more like a statue.Another suggestion, I wish they infused radium in the figure to make him glow in the dark ... that would look S-W-E-E-T ;)"Betrayer... Illidan Stormrage. One of the better known WoW villains, super cool backstory, was the boss of the Tier 6 Dungeon 'The Black Temple', and was pretty dang infamous to boot. Oh, he also dropped one of the very few Legendary weapons, a set of ridiculously cool looking swords.How stoked was I to get this figure when it released? Very! I pre-ordered this, and could not wait to receive it. It towers over my other figures, and his wings are big and awesome! He has a stand and does not tip easily, and his swords look completely ridiculously awesome.This is probably my favorite (if not top 3) Action Figure. Detailed, big, very very awesome. Durable too, and the wings detach for transport and so forth. 4 years later, this is still just super awesome to me.Side note: When I pre-ordered this, I think Amazon was still in it's infancy, as for some reason it lists that I pre-ordered it twice, and ordered it a third time. I only ordered one, only received one, and only was charged for one, so it is obviously a glitch or something. Just wanted to note that.

Totally disappointed! It had no external packaging, the box was crushed in and had packaging tape stuck to it. I bought this as a collectable but its no good for that. Once again totally disappointed!

Its very big and the wings constantly pop out. Make sure you have a place to display it that its against a wall or it will sit on the very edge of your shelf.

This figure, as well as the others in the series, are well cast and painted & look wonderful on display. They are geared more to the collector or Warcraft/World Of Warcraft player rather than a child's toy, but it is still a wonderful piece of eye candy from the Warcraft cannon. The toy itself came quickly and the packaging was in mint condition with no dents or creases; Great for the collectors out there.

I was disappointed that is had no external packaging. It was just wrapped in brown paper with packaging tape stuck to the box. The box was crushed. So it was no longer a collectible and had to be taken out of the box. The stand is not enough support for the figure even without the wings. The stand pegs broke after putting on the wings. I am rather disappointed about this, since my fiance feels like he wasted his money on this and could of bought me a better birthday gift. I am in process of using gorilla glue to stabilize it to the base and glue the wings on, in hoping to get use of it. I will update this if it works.UPDATE 5/18/2015: The gorilla glue has help stabilize the figure. I can now have it on display. It is nice to look at but I wouldn't recommend anyone to have to go through this ordeal.

Illidan leans back quite a bit because of his heavy wings. One of his wings also doesn't stay on very well. I've had him for over a year, and maybe it's the heat or humidity here but he's starting to become sticky. His wings are not sticky at all though, and my other Warcraft figures are fine. Just saying.

It`s full of details and it has a great size. I had one minor issue with one of the wargalaives grips getting loose, but it`s probably due to transport, it was a easy fix.
