Question 2

Will this scan the pdf417 barcode on the back on drivers license?

Accepted Answer

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our scanners!

Yes, this model can scan PDF417 barcodes.

*Note - It would be recommended to have an inventory management software that can parse the information from the PDF417 code.

Please let us know in case we can assist you with anything else.

Kind regards,

Question 3

After scanning the barcode. Does the info show up on the phone.

Accepted Answer

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our scanners!

Yes, once the barcode scanner is paired through Bluetooth with your phone, it will act as a keyboard and the output of a scanned code will be returned on the screen or in the window that you select.

Please let us know if any more details are required.

Kind regards,
ScanAvenger Helpdesk Team

Question 4

Can this be used for instacart?

Accepted Answer

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our scanner!

After checking Instacart's help pages, we couldn't find any recommendations for connecting it with a certain type or brand of barcode scanner. The scanner can connect to your phone using a Bluetooth connection, and it will transmit any barcode that you scan to your phone, in a cell/window that you select (exactly as if you were typing there). We recommend testing the scanner, and if you encounter any issues, we can assist you with a full refund and return of the scanner.

Kind regards,
ScanAvenger Helpdesk Team
