Tomato Automators, Set of 3 for Growing Large Healthy Tomato Plants

I got 4 3-packs of these. Can't get the labels off of them. Trying goo gone now as a last resort...real pain in the you know what...

These didn't hold up as ones I bought years ago. After one season a lot of them cracked. I used to get several seasons out of them.

These do help. I’m not so sure about whether red makes a difference but the water holes do. It helps direct water to the base of the plant. Fill the reservoir when you water- that’s it. Be careful loading the plant trough the hole when planting. You have to twist the Automator a bit.

I bought these to help avoid blight splashing on the plants from the soil. But these seem only to keep my plants from getting the water they need. Had to drill the corner openings to allow more water passage, but even then, the water only gets to the four corners.Had to remove them before the end of the season!I've been growing tomatoes for 45 years, and these were a real disappointment!

I've used these for years on pepper plants with great success. They are great for weed control right around the plant and I use some pelleted fertilizer in the four recessed holes for season long nutrient supply.

These arrived quickly and easy to put in place. No weeds around the base of my tomatoes and so far, no cutworms.
