Not easy but great fun
Great starter set, comes with a 3D book, a book of ideas and quite a few plastic sticks (which basically gets melted so you can doodle/ create items with them. The 8 year old (as well as adults) love this. It's initially very fiddly and hard to draw something that looks good but we've now gone a river, bridge and tree. I also find writing your name is quite easy.

Doodle away
This 3D doodle pen is honestly one of the most fun gadgets I’ve bought in a while. I originally got it thinking it would be a quick novelty… but I ended up sitting there like a kid again trying to build tiny towers, glasses, and what was supposed to be a dinosaur (it looked more like a confused lizard, but still). 😄 It’s really easy to use and heats up quickly. The pen feels comfortable to hold and the filament flows smoothly, which makes it surprisingly simple to create little 3D shapes and doodles. It’s great for creativity, whether you’re making small models, fixing things, or just messing around and seeing what you can build. The only downside is that the refill filaments can add up in price if you get a bit carried away… which is very easy to do once you start having fun with it! Overall though, it’s a brilliant little gadget and a great creative toy for both kids and adults.

Easy to use
Why did you choose this product over others?: Easy to load ink cartridges & the pen is comfortable to hold. The instruction booklet is helpful. Negatives - the ink is a little thin & it can be difficult for children to make shapes because of this.

Great Pen
Great Christmas present. Easy to use for my 7 year old. Comes with plastic ready to use. The replacements can be pricey so shop around for alternatives. Inside the booklet there are pictures to trace. Colour is universal if you have a child that minds.

Ideal present for a creative child.
Bought for my great grandaughter’s 9th birthday, she loved it. She made a pair of glasses, and an absolutely beautiful butterfly. Ideal present for a creative child!

Chances of working are 50/50
If working is a great machine that helps children create nearly any thing! I bought two and one of them has been faulty from the first day! Continuously gets stuck frustrating the user!
