Very tasty, something a little different
I first tried this Amontillao sherry as part of a tasting that paired whisky and sherry. I thought this sherry was the standout of the sherries and so bought a full sized bottle. Which I have now drunk. Will definitely buy another bottle at some point. I'm not a sherry expert, but I enjoyed the taste of this - nutty with a some sweetness and not too dry.

Not real Club Amontillado
This sherry is described in its listing as the now almost (or completely) impossible to find Club Amontillado by Harveys. Its not! Its actually called Solera sherry and its "a blend of Amontillado sherries". Its drinkable but has an unpleasant acidic edge to its aftertaste rather than the rounded smoothness of the club amontillado. I paid extra for Harveys simply because I couldnt find Amontillado in the shops at all- Its vanished- I dont know why- but I think Brexit. This wasnt worth the premium: a bottle of Sainsbury's "Medium" is much cheaper.
