Ok so the deco isn’t the all singing and dancing WiFi 6, but if you just want simplicity and a cheap mesh system they are still a good option. Even in 2023!

Bought this to build out my wireless network by connecting it to my Deco-DSL router. Super easy to configure and add to the Deco-DSL and build the network. Wireless coverage is excellent and placed on the ground floor, covers all of the upstairs where needed. Only annoying point was that you have to have a NEW SSID name as you can't use the original name from any old equipment.

Added this to my existing TP-Link Deco M5 network - easy to setup and boosted the signal where I needed it.

Added this to my current system. They are excellent and I recommend them for anyone with an Internet router (nearly everyone!)

Hello, I have a mix of Deco M9s & M5s. I needed another M5 to fill a gap and opted for a renewed product. This product failed after 17months and vendor says “sorry- out of warranty”. All the older new units doing fine- so beware of renewed.

The gadget turns on, but the Wifi signal is very week. You can't stand more than 2 meters away from the gadget to get a signal. You'll end up returning it and paying postage fees. Best to avoid it.

This didn't actually reduced the reach of my WiFi. The seller refunded me promptly but I had to pay return postage
