Great product
Making pavers with ready mix concrete and before using this they were weak and crumbling. With this plasticizer you don’t need very much water which makes them much stronger

significantly reduces setting time
While the water reducing effect is great, the extreme reduction in setting time that this caused made it unusable for me. Concrete that normally had a working period of 30 minutes was fully set in 10. Trying to fill a form that holds 3 bags of concrete wasn't possible, as the first was set before I could shovel the second one in. I didn't realize that polycarboxylic superplasticizers had this effect before trying it, but now that I know to look for it the information is easily found with a web search. So I guess that's on me, not this product. To add to the chain-letter review thing going on here: using the description's recommendation of 0.5%-1% plasticizer to cement, this 1lb bag is good for 10-20 bags of concrete mix. There is about 10lbs of cement in a 60 lb bag of concrete. 1% of 10lbs is 1\10th of a lb, 0.5% of 10lbs is 1\20th of a lb.

Worked well for my outdoor kitchen countertop project
Worked well for my outdoor kitchen countertop project. Recommend mixing concrete first then slowly adding plasticizer while continuously mixing. It seemed to work to get a consistent blend quicker. I used zipper-type sandwich bags to hold my premeasured amounts. Using the bags on a small food scale, I measured 101g per 60lb bag of cement which worked out to 0.38% by weight (based on other reviews suggestions). This 1lb order allowed me to mix 12 60lb bags of cement with just a little left over. Worked well, but the measuring portion took a while. Overall it was worth it since I was after consistent workability for my countertop project.

This product created a very liquid concrete. Was almost afraid i added too much water but was very thorough with my water to cement ratio. My project turned out amazing and no air bubbles what so ever. This plasticizer was for a concrete fire table. and eveything had to be perfect.. I was not disappointed.. thank you so much. I spent almost thirty years in construction and this was my first time using add mixtures to concrete. Worked amazingly.
