The charger I always wished I had
If you do as I do and keep your laptop chargers more or less permanently plugged in at one location (to make charging at home easy) you face the problem of what to do when you go out of town for more than a day. Well, it's easy --- disconnect the charger and take it with you. Except maybe it's not so easy depending on how your chargers are hooked up. Mine are in a cabinet and there's a lot of crawling around needed to remove and replace any particular charger. Or, what do you do if a charger fails? Replacing one can be difficult --- you may end up paying the manufacturer quite a bit, if one is even available. Along comes this charger, which is as it say above the one I always wished I had. It works on 120-240V so good for international travel (with a power plug adapter), and puts out 18-20 volts which is the sweet spot for almost all laptops and some Chromebooks. The big problem then is always to get the right plug to insert into the laptop. Well, they've got you covered. The charger comes with a large selection ... and I do mean large ... of various plug tips, all of which fit into the universal connector on the charger. I was able to connect every single one of my laptops --- I think I have four of them now --- with little problem. It does take a little time to match up the tips, and you should definitely do a test charge before you go on the road. But then mark the plug with a tape band or something like that, and you'll only have to do this once per laptop. And the 65W output is more than adequate for charging devices at a good enough speed. A couple of things to note: be careful when plugging the (correct) tip into the universal end on the charger. There are little pins, they fit tightly, and look like they could get bent if you don't have the alignment right or try to force fit. The other thing is that coverage of Chromebooks is spotty. My particular Chromebook only charges from a USB-C connection. No USB-C tip is provided with the charger, and I think with good reason --- you might mistakenly plug 18 volts into the 5 volt input of a phone or tablet. That might not turn out well. Cord lengths are more than sufficient with this charger. It's the one to take with you or use as a spare or replacement. This is a great product that is incredibly useful. 5 stars.

Works!
My cat has been chomping away on my wife's laptop's power cord. He does that. He likes that cord, along with non-braided USB cables. Eventually, he's going to ensure that the cord doesn't work anymore, so I got this. I put it to the test. It works. There is a large assortment of charger heads. It might take a couple of tries but once you find the match, plug it in and it's good. It also cost a fraction of what ordering a replacement charger from HP would cost.

It doesn't work and almost broke my laptop
The tips do not work, it almost ruined my expensive laptop, and I set up for a return and went to switch where I returned to, and they closed the window when I tried to change it. So I paid $20 for something that not only doesn't work but caused damage.
