The item seems quite accurate next to my professional food thermometer. The clear button and the highest and lowest temperatures is useful to see how a fridge is working in particular. I do have it in a glass door fridge and my only small gripe is that it can be quite difficult to read through the door but that won’t be a problem for everyone. It is clear with the door open as long as you don’t look at it from a steep angle.

The suction cup is useless as you're not supposed to put them on the sides or the back for accurate readings always in the middle of any shelf so i turned the hook around and used as a stand leaning back a bit but it will suffice :)). But overall glad I purchased this as its spot on for accuracy against my normal lounge hydrometer I wanted to see if they were both accurate and both are sitting side side as I’m having major issues with a brand new new fridge soon to be collected for replacement. Great quality tho even with the few hook and stand icks. Would highly recommend this.

This gives accurate but perhaps slow to change temperature readings in the fridge or rooms in the house. I tested it against other types of thermometer. Note : This is not for an oven as it is plastic.

I bought this thermometer for my fridge as it only has a 1-5 setting, not a temperature setting. I had previously bought a cheap thermometer but it was so inaccurate that I lost food to freezing or being warm. This thermometer is great however! No issues matching my fridge dial to the readings it gives me. Two issues though: 1) the suction cup either falls of the side of my fridge or the thermometer fall off it (two separate pieces, and the thermometer only hooks on) 2) I gave up trying to hang the the thermometer and now just have it standing on a shelf. BUT the base is rounded for some silly reason, meaning it only just stands up and easily gets knocked over if someone is too enthusiastic opening or closing the fridge door. Would I recommend it? Yes. Could it be improved? Yes.

Used for the last year , works fine in the fridge, gave up in the freezer after a few weeks, mainly from the battery not seeming to cope as once warmed back up would work again for a while . Wouldn’t recommend for freezers but great for fridges. Seems very accurate in terms of readings.

Mirando en internet sobre lo poco fiables que son los termómetros de bajo precio, leí que los mejores son los de nevera porque si se equivocan con la temperatura y se te estropea la comida puedes reclamar daños a la marca. Me pareció un argumento muy razonable así que me decidí por este termómetro. Lo tengo en el exterior de la ventana y funciona muy bien al tener un margen de -17 º a 40º. Este margen es suficiente para las temperaturas normales del sur de España. Como todo termómetro de exteriores, hay que colocarlo donde no le dé el sol directamente o las temperaturas serán engañosas. Al ser un termómetro de nevera aguanta muy bien el frío y he comprobado que aguanta salpicaduras de lluvia (está bajo un alerón del techo, por lo que no le da la lluvia directamente).

A ver, hace lo que dice, mide la temperatura, lo tengo dentro de una nevera y va bien.
