Q: What is the spring for?

The spring on the vise is used to hold material out of the way while you are tying other material onto the hook. For example, if you are tying a wooly bugger, you can tie in the hackle and place the end of the hackle in the spring while you tie in the chenille for the body.

Q: Can you explain why this has a prop 65 warning? The answer from 12/19 doesn't explain why.

I would like to help as I have the same vice however, I have no idea what a prop 65 is, never any mention of such a thing on mine.
