Is anyone having a retraction issue with these knives? I’ve inserted the blade securely, but it won’t fully retract.

Many of these knives being manufactured are defective. To retract the knife there is a metal sleeve that needs to be pulled back to then retract the knife. On one knife I received the metal sleeve was not manufactured properly, which allowed the knife to be unfolded, but could not be retracted. I indicated that the knives were damaged and they sent another package of 2. In the second shipment, another knife was damaged. I finally got 2 functioning knives out of 4. They have a serious quality assurance manufacturing issue with these knives. However, if Dewalt reaches out, I can fix issues in their manufacturing processes, which will save them far more than my $500k consulting fee.

Does these have a metal body?

The yellow is metal. the black is a rubber coating on plastic. It flips up and has storage for extra razor blades.

Does it store blades ?

yes it stores blades, but the design for blade storage is not good.
