SP99 Under Sink Water Filter

The tap water here is good. You could actually drink it straight from the tap. Nevertheless, we wanted to improve the quality even more, also because we have a small son. Water from plastic bottles is ok, but it's plastic, heavy and not very cheap. We already spend about 50 GBP a month. We were also not happy with the plastic waste from the bottles. That's why we bought a water filter. Not a super expensive one - we don't need boiling water or ice water - just good drinking water. That's why we finally decided on the Frizzlife filter. The package arrived well packed and complete. Each part was labelled, the instructions with photos and therefore relatively quickly clear how the installation should look. The workmanship of the filter is very good and clean. We were pleased about the small bonus items such as the sealing tape. There are also two sizes for the pipe width and two different lengths for the connection hoses. So everyone should be able to connect the filter well. It worked well for us - but one of the pipe nuts was a bit tighter, which has nothing to do with the filter. After 10 minutes everything was ready. No leaks, the filter fitted straight away. What is positive: - Top filter at a very good price. - The filtered water tastes neutral / good. - The follow-up costs for filter changes are also very good. - Installation uncomplicated - Customer support is excellent and exceeds expectations by far! - Overall, one has the feeling that a lot of experience and customer feedback has already gone into the filter. What is negative: - Part of the packaging material is plastic foam. Maybe there is a better ecological solution?

This easy to install triple stage water filter unit came with everything needed to fit this under our sink, onto the water supply, and included the tap too! The quality feels reasonably well made, with good quality tubing, an easy to replace filter system, and a wall mount unit. The tap is stainless steel and is solid, although the plastic nut that secures it can come loose at times. The only negative I have is that the unit can leak if the water pressure is too high, so we had to fit a pressure regulator before the water intake. It frustrated me because a slightly better design could prevent this, or include a pressure regulator with the unit.

So far so good. Super taste quick flow. Recomended.

The kit arrived complete with all items that one could possibly need. It was well packaged and the instructions were clear. Although this is not a reverse osmosis filter, the 3 stage filtration system does appear to remove most of the nasties! It does represent good value for money and there was a noticeable improvement in the taste of the water . The only issue that I had was the size of the plastic nut that holds the faucet being too wide to fit under the sink. This was quickly remedied by reducing its diameter using a grinding wheel. The brushed nickel faucet blends in well with our brushed stainless steel sink. The water flow from the faucet is a little slow and this is likely to decrease with time. However, our water pressure is not as high as we would like, so this is not a criticism!

We like the taste of the water! We was buying water bottles for 10years! Now its just at home! Very easy to install everything,no need to hire anyone!

Decided to buy this kit to plumb into the existing water feed to the fridge with better filtered water, so didn't bother with the tap. Thought it would be a lot of faff to install but was fairly straightforward. Sits nicely under the kitchen sink where the existing feed was connected to the filter. So far, so good. Water is noticeably clearer with no residue or floating debris. Tastes better. Being in the SE, our water still seems a little hard but that may be down to the existing filter fitted inside the fridge having residue build up so we'll that change shortly. Overall, a fairly simple install made a lot easier by watching their YouTube video.

Its been over a month, we tried, then handy man and now have to pay professional plumber which costs more then the filter and still not done. Definetely need someone professional to install. I havent tasted the water yet… so frustrating

My water tastes 100% better than without it! No Chlorine or chloramine odour or horrible taste. Easily installed. No leaks The tap the comes with it is very nice and lead free. Very happy with this purchase!
