As someone who struggles with combination to oily skin, sometimes it’s hard to find products that don’t make your oils come out more. I like to use chemical exfoliants a couple times a week because I find it does help with my oils, acne and even dry skin. I like to use toners after washing my face to get off whatever might be left on my skin, so having an exfoliating toner basically does two jobs at once, I’m all in. I have been using this toner before bed, after washing my face. I only sue it 2-3 a week, because I found if I use it too often, it will make my skin feel a bit too dry. But using it 2a-3 times a week seems to do a good job. I haven’t noticed a huge change in my skin, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not working. I haven’t had any increase in acne or oils, so I would say it’s keeping my skin more balanced. So that being said, I would recommend this to other person who struggle with combination to o9ily skin. If you like chemical exfoliants and toners, this claims to be both of those things. So I would say this would be a good item to have in your skincare routine.

I like Dr.Different's skincare products. This toner is pretty good. It helps clarify the skin and removes excess sebum and dead skin cells. It will tighten the pores. It also moisturizes the skin a bit. I use it every night and love the soft feeling after using it.

My husband and I are using this together, and it has better results on my face than his. My face is not oily, his is. It does a decent job on his skin as well, but won't make the oily appearance go away completely.No overwhelming scent :) easy application, very cute presentation, so definitely giftable.

I have acne-prone oily sensitive/reactive skin for reference. I like the way this toner feels on my skin and that it doesn’t cause any irritation. However, I didn’t notice any decrease in oil production on my face at all. I’m still just as greasy as I was when I started using this toner a month ago. And as far as acne is concerned, everything on my face looks about the same (no better, no worse). I also want to note that this toner should not be applied after exfoliating. I made that mistake and boy did it burn. The directions say to pour some in your hands and dab it on the face. I found it easier to use a cotton pad, a lot less mess. Overall, I think this toner is nice but it doesn’t really deliver on its promises.

I have acne prone skin and any skin product that is not suited for my skin will break me out. I’m happy to announce the Dr. Different Scaling Toner doesn’t cause me to breakout. The consistency is just like any normal toner. It gets absorbed into my skin very quickly. It does give me the feeling of it tightening my pores a bit. I always follow with serum then moisturizer after my toner. Haven’t had any reactions, irritations or redness. At $34 for 200mL of toner, it’s pretty pricey.

This is a 6.7 oz bottle of toner that is supposed to target oily skin and provide the following benefits: PH balancing, pore tightening, sebum control, and AHA exfoliating. I normally have oily skin in the summer and combo skin in the winter time. I always have to purchase mattifying foundation, use a mattifying powder and then spray with a makeup setter in order to keep my oiliness under control. I've been using this toner for the past month...mainly at night after I've finished my cleansing routine. I pour a few drops into the palm of my hands and then just dab it on my forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. There is no scent or burning/irritation and my face doesn't feel dried out after use. I've had a few breakouts here and there, around the time of my period but other than that, my face has stayed pretty clear. I've just been using a CC cream and applying a finishing powder and I haven't come home with an oil slick on my face, even on some of these hot and humid days we've had so I think this has been doing some sort of good for me. It is pretty pricey but a little goes a long way.

There’s not much of a difference when I use this toner but I guess it’s light enough to be used everyday. It clears excess oil and dries pimples quickly. If your skin is not sensitive, you could apply another acne treatment product/serum over top, once the salicylic solution has dried.
