15" Jumbo Baking Stone Set

I used my stone for the first time tonight, my pizza was perfectly crispy! I live in the Midwest and we have Monical's pizza. If you've never tried it you are missing out... I bought a frozen Monical's pizza, cooked it on the stone and it was just as perfect as if it were cooked in the restaurant! Not sure how I have lived without this thing for so long, but you can bet there are no more soggy pizza's in my future! :)

I bought this for my mom for her birthday to replace one that she broke-- this one works just as good as the more expensive one she had before. Definitely a great price. She's made pizza on it three times and it always comes out perfectly crispy (but not burned!) The only downside is, as with any pizza stone, you can't wash it. But as long as you only use it for pizza it's not a problem she just uses lots of cornmeal before loading the pizza.

I chose this stone because of the good reviews, low cost, and that nobody had stated that it had cracked on them. Well I'll be the first! The stone cracked on the 5th use during the cooking of a pizza at 450 degrees. All cooking and cleaning instruction where followed. The stone also was showing hairline cracks after 2 uses. While it cooked a great homemade pizza was not worth 5 bucks a use. The stone is also clearly marked "CHINA" in a large font on the bottom of the stone. The stone was also only 3/8" thick. I'll be trying a more expensive 5/8" thick pizza stone next. Hopefully this one is produced in the USA.

Upset that it did not work out. He had talked about making homemade pizza for over a year and I finally got him everything he needed for it. We followed all the directions and when we got the pizza out of the oven the dough still stuck to this stone. Very disappointed. I let him know that maybe we needed to preheat it longer but I doubt he will ever want to take the chance and use it again. I paid 5 dollars for a metal one at a Kroger's store and it worked 100x better.

I am a pizza-making novice and thought the stone performed well during the first few uses but it cracked during the fifth use. I'm not sure if I was not gentle enough with the stone - I always pre-heated in oven as instructed, but when trying to remove the pizza off the stone, I would sometimes need to rotate the stone around the oven in order to scrape bits off that were stuck to the stone and I wonder if that little bit of banging around in the oven attributed to it cracking so quickly? In any case, I'm purchasing another stone but think I will try another brand instead. P.S. The pizza wheel that came in the set didn't work so great - not super sturdy nor sharp enough to cut slices cleanly.

Home Innovations shipped this Stone Set promptly and arrived in well packaged carton in timely fashion. Did use almost immediately with fairly good results. Personally would have liked pie to be a little crispier but not sure if that was my fault with my dough being too thick. At any rate, stone is a good size and if heated correctly should result in a good base for dough. It also comes with wire rack that can be used to place pizza and stone in cradle but got me it's a waste of space to store so in the garbage it went. Stone is pretty well stained from two uses and found it difficult to clean. I have given up on that. All in all price was right and stone will continue to be used by me.

Have used this pizza stone for both pizza and breads or over 2 months without any issues. Produces great crisp pizza crusts and breads. I believe it really helps to leave the stone in the oven to cool and not to remove it hot. I did throw out the wire holder as I did not see any real use for it. Pizza cutter is of average quality and does the job. Overall excellent value.

I seriously love this pizza stone! Not only is it cheap, it also stands the test of time. I've used this pizza stone to make dozens of pizzas and it hasn't cracked or caused me any problems! The pizza cutter is terrible but that is literally the only downside. I feel like I really got my moneys worth out of this item!
