CrossAventura Starry Blue Fountain Pen with Medium Nib (AT0156-2MS)

The pen is gorgeous. It is a joy to write with it. The price is well below another item of comparable quality.

The Cross Aventura is a very good pen. First off it looks very stylish but the cap does not post solidly. The blue colour in the listing is much brighter than in person which is slightly disappointing; it's really dark so I'm not sure why they call it "starry blue". The medium nib gives a generous flow of ink with each pass but every so often a skip and missing ink. Not bad overall. I suspect as time goes on it will get better.

I have trouble with the pen top cover staying on. Unless you apply immense pressure the top easily pops off. Another fallacy is it leaks ink all over your fingers. Never again !

I have a collection of cross pans this one being the least quality of them all. I rarely use it and it almost feels like a Chinese knock off compared to my other ones.

This is a really great pen which I used extensively. It writes well and the ink doesn’t bleed. I received several compliments from colleagues who borrowed my pen to jot some notes down and their first reaction was how well it feels and writes. I had lost this exact same pen during my commute and this is now my 2nd pen. Happy that Amazon had this available.
