This has been a wonderful Purchase and I couldn't be Happier.
This camera and monitor are very well made. The installation was very easy as you simply need a 12 volt power wire and a good ground to operate the camera and the same for the monitor. The picture quality is very, very good. The signal strength is great and in fact, I tested how far I could put the camera away from the monitor and still have a crisp, clear picture and the distance was more than 100 feet. You could use this for many other purposes as long as you have a 12 volt power source. The camera clarity is very impressive, When you back into a garage during the bright daylight the cameras picture is far better than what you see in the mirrors or with your naked eye. I have some very bright LED lights on the back on my vehicle for illuminating while backing and even when the lights were on and then suddenly turned off, the image in the monitor from the camera was perfect. The camera is heavier than I expected, which is NOT a problem and in fact, the housing for the camera is well made and very water proof as far as using it on the exterior of a vehicle in the rain or snow. The mounting of the monitor was very simple, I used one of the suction cups which came with the monitor and it has held the monitor without any issues. The vehicle in which this camera is mounted does have a rough ride at time and bounces when driven off the road, etc. If the monitor was going to come loose with the suction cup, it would have by now and it has NOT moved an inch. The monitor mounting bracket provides a wide range of adjustment options. The brackets hold the monitor securely and are widely adjustable with reasonable limitations which did not create any issues for my use. This purchase is one I would say has been PERFECT. The seller even followed up multiple times via email when I didn't post a review right away to make sure that I wasn't having problems with their product. The quality of both the monitor and the camera are very high. The wiring is fine and plenty of wire was provided for finding power sources to operate the camera and monitor. The camera mounting bracket holds it very secure.I would have to say that purchase has probably been the best one I have made this year from Amazon and I have had about 30 other purchases, according to my "orders" tab on Amazon's site.I can give you no reason to hesitate and not order this immediately. On a scale of 1 to 100, with 100 being absolutely ideal and everything perfect, I can honestly give this a 100 from my perspective and use. I have used this device now for about 35 hours and it's been great. This is one of those items that once you own it and have used it, you will not want to be with out it,.Note, the monitor is LARGE, but that is exactly what I wanted. The monitor is probably too large for install in anything smaller than a full sized truck, SUV, etc.************UPDATE****************It's now been over 3 months and I have used the camera for over 150 hours and it still works GREAT. Very happy with my purchase and find this camera is a great safety feature.

Good product, but sparse instructions
I just installed this on my 30’ travel trailer today. The camera and monitor work well and the picture is good. That’s the most important thing. However, the instruction that came with it are terrible, and the videos the company has online are basically “unpacking” videos. They lay out the parts on a table and connect them to show you how they work, not how to install the camera on the trailer. Luckily, I found some helpful amateur videos on YouTube. One was of a guy installing a very similar camera on a trailer just like mine, same brand. He tows it with the same truck as mine. Unfortunately, my first choice of location, directly below the centre clearance lamp, ended up being at a stud, and I didn’t know until I had drilled the hole. You can see in the photo that I put tape over that hole temporarily. I ended up mounting it in line with the clearance lamps, between the centre and the one to its right. The kit included two mysterious red clips. No mention of them in the instructions or in their video. No idea what they’re supposed to be for, but I didn’t need them. I’m looking forward to trying this out on our next camping trip. I bought this camera mainly to assist with backing into a campsite. I do expect it to perform that function well.

Nice camera system & easy install.
Great camera system! I would definitely buy it again. My 25’ camper was pre-wired for the Furrion camera system. I couldn’t justify the extra $150 for the Furrion monitoring system which has a smaller 4.3” lower resolution screen. The YUWEI’s screen is 7”, has a higher resolution and supports up to 4 wireless cameras. I’m going to add a second one for my hitch area later. The install was really easy. I mounted it above the existing Furrion bracket. I used a piece of double sided foam tape to stick the bracket (with camera removed) to the camper and then pre-drilled my holes through the bracket and tape. I then used stainless steel pan head screws to secure the bracket. The foam tape works great to hold it all in place and helps to seal the screw holes. Next I opened the Furrion mounting bracket, pulled out the connector and cut it off (make sure all power is disconnected to the camper). I also had to cut off a long portion of the YUWEI camera wire. I drilled a small hole in the Furrion bracket cover for the camera wire. I stripped both camera and camper wires and connected them using“Posi-Twist Wire Connectors 18-26 gauge”. The vehicle has to be connected to the camper and the lights and/or running lights need to be on before the camera will power on.The monitor is high quality and comes with a dash and window mount. I used the window option and it worked great. I also liked that it just plugs into a cigarette type outlet and doesn’t have to be hard-wired. The picture quality beat my expectations. Video only cut out for a few seconds a couple times in a recent 900 mile trip. It seems to happen only in populated areas. I’m driving a Ram 1500 and tow a 25’ camper. A $6 separate remote mount antenna is available for this camera if you find it cuts out too much for your situation. I found It wasn’t necessary in my setup. Being able to monitor the area behind the camper while driving is game changing. Also, being able to see when backing the trailer up is AWESOME! I’ll never go back to not having a camera. Thanks YUWEI!!!

Will work with aluminum travel trailers.
Works good not great. It WILL work with an Aluminum Travel trailer. I have a 34’ Jayco TT and Ford F-150. I was worried about interference but it will work and at highway speeds. No black outs noted.Picture is good.Unfortunately the image isn’t centered well. Although it was installed dead center of the TT and flush, the image isn’t truly centered in the monitor. There isn’t enough adjustment available with the side screws that attach the camera to the bracket to compensate. I had already Sealed the bracket and mounting screws in place before noticing the alignment otherwise I would have shimmed it to align the image.
